Surferboy let me get a point across, in every one hundred years the church asks that we refrain from celebrating paddy's day when it falls on holy week and it has happened only 3 times in 100 years, so now that you understand, do me a favour and FUCK OFF ye gobshite

Your use of the definite article "the" before "church" betrays to whom you pledge your allegiance.

The Catholic Church is "a" church, not "the church", unless you are one of the Pope's boys in Ireland.

This topic was started as open expression of friendliness from the irish BM to all people in this forum, but then an asshole jumps up and starts insulting us because we believe in something that you will never understand.

When you start and insult me, that's one serious BAD idea, i had the pleasure of being able to watch my dad receive communion of pope John Paul II in knock, so ye i am god's chosen people and we don't need an atheist here to piss me off, so without saying anything else, i was just wondering how it feels to be pissed on at birth instead of baptized.

The reason he has for getting pissed is that he's Irish. For an Irishman, being too pissed to stand up is like breathing... it's a lifestyle that really has nothing to do with whatever fairy tale the Pope sanctioned as a holiday.

Being Irish is the same excuse the disgraceful-Irish-American-crooked-Senator Ted Kennedy used to drink to excess, before he drove his mistress into the river and abandoned her to drown.
