I'm too old, and fed up, to believe and celebrating these arcaic rituals, no matter which country they do belong. I don't give a fuck about any patriotism or religion, in fact, I only find it counter-productive.
Keep your sound and healthy traditions from your countries on, and the historical facts as objective as possible but please stop banging eachother skulls because you prefer an old man in a purple frock instead of another in a black one (or whatever color it is!).
Now, back to Ireland..never been and probably never will..but I tried the Guiness and what I believed it was Irish food, I did like it. I liked some Celtic music too and I love Francis Bacon's morbid paintings..and that's just about I need to know
