The most lame vacation places!

(buttafly @ Feb. 18 2008,21:04) The "new" Moscow would be to my liking from what I hear, especially from like June until september..... late night partying, cute blonde girls, etc..... but way over-priced and selective doormen and attitudes, 100 dollar cover charges, etc...... think i'll skip this place and it's probably best, Putin will be Czar soon and who knows what could happen there!

I lived there for five months. It's a fun place. Wild wild west. Dangerous place if you behave badly when pissed.

Amazing disparity between women and men there. Women almost always tall and beautiful (small breasts, long legs) and men drunk, ugly and stupid.

Obviously a brutal generalisation but it's amazing how often it's right.

I can attest to that from my trip there in the "summer" which basically doesn't exist

USA is just as boring though, and almost as expensive

all in all I will take 3rd world, tropical countries

Never been to Russia and, hopefully, never will. But indeed in several occasions in Bangkok I noticed small groups of Russkin tourists as couple with the ladies being young, pretty, tall and the guys much older and quite ugly.
Not sure about the stupid part but they didn't seem like the brightest brains on earth. Occasionally some monstrous ex-Spesnatz with whom you definitely DON'T want to mess around with

Im sure the pilots were pissed , this was normal practice in them days....but it was two drunken passengers who claimed they were ex pilots and could fly the plane better ( we were in turbulence).

One guy got up and started banging on the door at the front to rant with the pilot ( i think the Pilot was downstairs and this was a coat room anyway). He had to be restrained.

Another big fat guy grabs a food tray with red hot steaming coffee which went straight on to his chest. he run into the toilet screaming and came out with just his pants on with a big red rash down his chest.

it went on and on and on... . yes Moscow is a different place now. Hotels at a 1000 USD a night.

England's 2008 summer came and went last week - 18 degrees centigrade in London with no rain.

It will probably be another 6 months before we get some decent weather.

I remember it well... I was outside waiting for it. Popped into the pub for a piss, came out and it had gone.
