The Russians who visit Pattaya are mainly members of the new elite. They have either got rich quickly by 'illegal' business deals or have contacts with the new political elite.

The majority of ordinary Russians treat them with contempt and are embarrased by their arrogance and bad manners.

Russia has changed alot since the fall of the Soviet Union and Moscow is changing faster than any other city in Europe. It is well worth a visit but beware of the pick pockets.

flew areoflot to Moscow in 1990. Was seated by the wing which rattled the whole way there - I was scared shitless.

Then the pilot missed (how the fuck?!!!) Moscow international airport and landed in some regional shithole where we sat for 2 hours amongst livestock and cargo crates waiting for a bus to come and rescue us

The only good thing about Amsteram is the Indonesian food,as long as the restaurant doesnt have the word "chinese/Indo" on the signage your OK,better then anything we have in the UK.Went to one bar had a pint & a G&T 18 euro & they say the red light districit isnt seedy,but who's standard !
Bali ,OK to go with a GF ,but for a party & ladyboys it's an No-No, its like spain for the Aussies !

Depends which part of England.

London is the rip off capital of the world and half the population are not English.

Travel outside London and the people and the country are completely different. The scenery is more diverse than any country in the world.

The weather is crap but the food is now amoungst the best in the world

The food is much better now,you can find anything you want if you look..
and northerners are more friendly,or so they say..
