    Morecombe 85 was a blast..
There were only a few of us mods back then...
I remember riding up on an SX200 with Cloud 9(a local S.C.)
The lights were playing up because i'd wired up 15 the day before,
In the end I told them to carry on without me while i sorted it out..
No chance..i ended up riding there in the pitch black..
The Allnighters on the pier were sound..
I walked in wearing a two-tone suit, looked the muts nuts,,
a guy was sitting at the far end of the dancefloor, stood up,
totally naked walked over to me and planted a kiss right on my
lips...right in front of all my mates...very embarrassing!
Remember people use to sleep in the roof space of them shelters
on the prom, shop doorways anywhere they could...nuts!!

I am sure I am not the only one who does this, but for me the best "cheer up" songs are any song which remind me of another place I was at which was cool. For instance, I like a lot of Pendulum stuff 'cause when I hear them it reminds me of my favorite island, Koh Phangan, where they get played a lot. Or I may hear a cool Chill-out song on my MP3 player and it takes me back to Amsterdam and the coffee shops; or a great song I heard first in the summer in my car or some shit, with the top down and music cranking..... hearing it again reminds me of that drive.

Cheer me up songs.....I have hundreds.... any song that takes me to a place where I was really happy for that particular time rocks

James Garner...great actor...loved the show Maverick. One of my all-time favorite themes though is from the movie, The Good, The Bad and The Ugly.

Whenever Im down, songs from Regine Velasquez (local artist), Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Celine Dion and Natalie Cole cheer me up big time.    Especially when I belt out those high notes to my hearts content!

I started watching it because it's the only TV show I ever remember my dad liking. My dad was also a detective and he looked like Jim Rockford.

It's the only TV Theme tune I have on my iPod!!

The theme from Hawaii Five-O got a lot of radio airtime when the show was popular..."book-em Danno"...sticks in my head even today.
