Hi,

We have seen the girls, boys, post-op and pre-op ladyboys; Asian TS features all of these in various combinations.

Has anyone thought about including the missing fifth sex, hermaphrodites?

Can you imagine the possibilities if these truely exotic creatures were introduced into the mix?

Surely, there must be some incredibly beautiful erotic Asian hermaphrodites for inclusion by Asian TS?

What do the other members of this Forum think about this idea?

Welcome to the forum.

Hermaphrodites are even more rare than transsexuals  -  I understand that no-one has exact figures but it's reconed that as little as 0.018% of live births (1 in 5500) have both sets of sex organs.
What could be described as visible hermaphroditism.
Taking the populaton of Thailand as 62.6 million that makes around 11,000 of them are hermaphrodites.

The incidence of transsexualism is even harder to work out as it comes in many degrees and not all seek medical attention.
In the US it's believed that about 0.2% of the male population has undergone SRS. So how many more have not?
Transsexuals (M-F) could make up  very very roughly  0.4% of the population so that makes 250,000 out of 62.6M in Thailand.

Allowing for the fact that only a small percentage of any group are prepared to be featured in pornographic pictures/films it's going to be very hard to find a hermaphrodite that is prepared to be photographed.

I do remember one featured on another site.  Unfortunately for her her parents had decided to have her genitals reconstructed as a boy so she looked like a ladyboy.
She was in fact a female hermaphrodite - and looked very pretty.  She could have been a real girl  

That will be the other problem in Thailand in that the doctors tend to pressure the parents into operations to give the babies one sex.  This is no longer done in most western countries.

I'm impressed by the Forum and by your knowledge on the subject.

However, there are a number of American female porn stars who, for whatever reason, have had an operation and are now hermaphrodites with both sets of genitalia.

I assume that they were born as a single sex females and have chosen to be different. Their motivation is perhaps to fill a niche in the industry and to earn some money, no pun intended.

Are there any girls like this in Thailand or in the far East?

If so, would they consent to being photographed or filmed?

Once again, what do the other members think about this?

I actually have a co-worker who is a hermaphrodite, when I started a few weeks ago she was a he and has since decided to be refered to as a she again.

Has two kids in NY or so I've been told.......which way I don't have a clue?

I've never actually seen a real live hermaphrodite. I've only had the pleasure of seeing hermaphrodites in DVDs or on the internet.

Speaking of which, should anyone wish to view, AFAIK, the only free clips of hermaphrodites in action, please PM me for the URL.

I also had the impression that hermaphrodites were sterile and could neither impregnate nor be impregnated.

This leads credence to the low numbers being born, doesn't it? (see Roadrunner's post for stats)

I don't think that the incidence of sterilty is much higher than in the rest of the population. Though perhaps it's a few percent higher because of the complications the condition can raise.

Smuttleydfs comment raises an interesting question  -  can a hermaphrodite impregnate themself?    I would guess the answer is no but I admit I'm not sure either way  

The chances of a hermaphrodite producing hermaphrodite child should be roughly the same as for the rest of the population  -  so it's not impossible but is highly unlikely.
I don't think they are poised for a world takeover

Here's a 'what if' for you to ponder over.

What if the population of the world were all hermaphrodites because they had taken over.

No males, no females just hermaphrodites and they were, naturally, all fertile.

I know it's bit of a stretch and totally sci-fi and Amazonian?

There would be no TS ladyboys, no gays and no lesbians.

Would you want to live in a world like that?

She is a intelligent person and one of the best workers in the company. Looks wise...........well think of the old saturday night live skit about "Pat"..........that pretty much describes her........looks very asexual.......

Firstly, I'm assuming that you live in the USA whilst I'm in the UK, so refering to US TV shows goes right over my head.

Secondly, your co-worker who you believe to be an hermaphrodite. You say this is what you've been told?

Has she said that she's an hermaphrodite or are you just guessing? Perhaps she's a transsexual or a transvestite?

Is she married to a man or a woman, if it's to the latter then perhaps it was she who bore the children.

Let's picture the scenario; she's been coming to work dressed as and acting as a man. This means that she possibly left her home dressed as a man and now she dresses as a woman?

You say that she is asexual, what do your instincts tell you? Does she have breasts, does she walk, talk and smell as a female? How old is she, what is her shape like, male or female?

Is she aware of your sexual orientation? If she is, perhaps she might like to say a word or two on this Forum?

The operation to create a penis, is called phalloplasty. It is a complicated, difficult surgical procedure. It is also very expensive in the realm of 50 - 150,000 USD.

It seems unlikely that a female porn star would subject herself to this kind of procedure. It seems more likely the porn films that feature hermaphrodites are actresses using prosthetics.

Thank you for your message and for the very informative link.

I have edited your use of my own quote to express what my eyes see.

In several hermaphrodite DVDs there is one particular female porn star who appears as a woman in some scenes. In others she appears as an hermaphrodite with an ample amount of pubic hair at the base of her erect cock. I'd assumed this was to cover any surgical scars she may have received whilst undergoing phalloplasty.

Whilst some are definitely wearing prosthetics, much to my disappointment, most are not. I can only cite what I see and not what I know.

Should anyone reading this wish to know more about the hermaphrodite DVDs please PM me for their titles. I hasten to point out that I have no vested interest in the DVDs, simply a wish to expose members to alternative ideas and experiences.
