To tarnish the Italian effort in Germany by calling us cheats etc is both unfair and altogether childish. Stop haterising and face the facts. Did anyone watch any of the interviews with the Italian public last nite.. You say that these 4 teams have been punished due to a few individuals, i find it strange that the italians have known that this kind of thing has gone on for years and dont actually see a problem with it. I remember 1 lady saying yes they were in the wrong but so what it happens all the time . Now im quite surprised as this shit happens all the time i.e english FA is always gona deduct points from one of the big boys for doing this and doing that.. well the shit finaly hit the fan some where... whether this will have an impact on football as a whole who knows... i do no this... Those 4 teams are now a bargain basement for all to raid.. Can u see half those players staying?? Look at Juve? 30 points, thats ten wins..dya reckon they will be back up after 1 season?? so if Juve have been striped of there Serie A win last year who gets it the crown

As for deserving the cup i think you did well done and congratulations, no jealousy here... lets see what happens to matterazzi

Looks like Inter have been awarded last seasons scudetto. The players and the fans have no place in the match fixing. Like I said the teams affected were affected due to a number of greedy dickwads that deserve to be drawn and quatered.
Juve will lose all its high ranking players...looks like capello at Real is on a buying spree. The old lady will live again!
By the way, to think this shit only happens in Italy....thats too naive.

As for Materazzi...well he will cop some shit due to all the press convincing everyone that what he did was a first for football. Give me a break! Materazzi does not need any punishment. blackgrendel I am an azzuri fan too. No need to to gloat. We are all gentlemen here. I think, not that i have ever been accused of one . Italy was the best and most consistant team in the WC. They didnt have the best players but certainly the best team. Anyone who knows football can see that. That is what Dave and beefy were as much saying.

hey beefy is a lady on the street a real authority? Its terrible whats happenned. No excuses here. But it could have been swept under the carpet and it didnt. So that is positive.

As for Matterazzi, i will tell you one thing he will get, and that is a serie A title medal.

I dont think he should get any punishment. If he does then fifa should look at every provocation incident that happenned.

Its like they are trying to canonize Zidane. I think he conducted himelf very shamleful even up until now.

That's exactly the point! This World Cup has been won by "normal" players like Materazzi , Gattuso , Zambrotta , Grosso ..when stars like Del Piero and Totti didn't in fact shine.
That's the result of a well coordinated team effort and what Lippi always said "Nobody is really indispensable!" and that a team is not done by 2 or 3 superstar palyers only.
I'm proud of Italy..
Now..why there is no smiley hosting an Italian flag among those emoticons???
