Shame that the Aussie run had to end, but not for one minute did they look like a team that didn't deserve to be there. To lose 2 - 0 to Brazil and 1 - 0 to Italy is a fantastic achievement.

Made me look pretty stupid, too, because I really thought they would crash and burn!

It's just a thought, but if Australia had scored a goal or two then they wouldn't have to rely on the ref not goofing up. They play 90 minutes of footy, fail to score and then blame the ref? Duh!

I was thinking the exact same thing! A lazy performance from Brazil and three goals to show for it! Ghana did most of the running and had none of the luck... mind you - their finishing was horrible. I kept think that "it's just a matter of time before Ghana get a couple" but they didn't.

Hit the nail on the head there mate, there fininshing was truly abysmal.

Brazil havent even broken sweat yet, and germany r yet to have a hard match so they shud both be set. Argentina may be slightly tired after the mexico game. Italy are without central defenders, england are without strikers, portugal have no midfield the Ukraine i will not talk about and france who started to play some good ball lastnite... We still going for an all out south american final? or have things changed
