(andre459 @ Dec. 20 2006,16:38) Here's to another 18 years.
i was wrong the other day saying 18 years,it was a tiny 16 years news today about warne going to retire which will cheer up every englishman but joking aside warne is a class act and will be a miss even to us poms
The Aussie papers are full of it this morning and they say that McGrath will go as well, McGrath we can replace but Warne is one of a kind.
it was a tiny 16 years
Considering Warne played for 13 of those years it gives England some hope for the future. The guy I feel sorry for is Stuart MacGill if he was ten years younger he would be just starting a promising test career. But unfortunately he is basically the same age as the greatest spinner of all time.
Looks like the chucker will end up with the most test wickets.
A bit shakey early on but Hayden and Symonds have steadied things nicely. Great to see Symonds get a hundred.
Now it's time to grind them into the dirt.
I have just left Oz en route to the LOS for R & R, I have spent the last 4 1/2 weeks there working, virtually all in Taz, i was saved some of the mockery that i would have received on the main land no doubt.
Unfortunately like our football teams, they are just not that good anymore & have become over paid pre-maddoners!

You pays your money & takes your chance. This isn't a rehearsal do it now, it's no good looking back when it's a lover & wishing.... ITS TOO LATE.
It gets worse!
I suffered 3 of the defeats at the grounds, and now cant even bring myself to watch the lowlights on TV back in the UK. Feel sorry for all those who have made the Christmas/ New Year trip - to see a such dismal sporting contest Battle?
Maybe enjoy the fireworks in Sydney, before being 'ground into the dirt' ?
