As if Sharpton or any other racial shit-stirrer has ANY room to talk. They are bigots, one and all, who have made significantly racist statements, then yammer on as if they have credibility. Sharpton even had to pay quite a lot of money to settle a defamation claim in a fantasy race-rape controversy in 1987, and his record of racism is long.

Fuck them all.

Sharpton is a Pentecostal Minister, no less, and his competitor for public attention, the Reverend Jesse Jackson, who once called New York "Hymietown", is a Baptist minister. I admire these fine Christians.

As far as Don Imus goes, he was a jerk of questionable sanity long ago. Of note, he also had his lap-dog John Kerry on his show about every other fucking day.

Why is John Kerry suddenly so quiet and seemingly unwilling to bite the racist hand that fed his Democratic ticket? Surely he must be bummed that Don Imus is no longer around to promote him.

Imus is an idiot. But as the old saying goes I may dissagree with what you say but will fight to the death to defend your right to say it.
Everyone has a right to make an ass out of themselves. And please understand that everyone gets insulted. Get over it. The biggest problem with the muslims is they just need to grow up and stop insisting that anything they dont like is an insult. So what I am insulted by their crap to.
Another thing regarding Imus. Basicly we have laws in place, they are called liable and slander. If you think you have been lialbed or slandered, take it to court. Also we are entitled to opinions. Basicly the way he said it was slander. But if he would have said. "in my opinion" then he is off the hook legaly. What has happend is nothing more than vigilanty action. Completely outside the law. Again Imus is dumb but to allow this incedent to stifle speech in any way is stupid. I have the right to say whatever I want. Expressing hate is not a crime. Expressing love is not a crime. and neither is anything inbetween. Do you think that by banning certain words the ideas will go away. For example. If I say god dammit or gosh darn it . is there really any difference. What the hell or what the heck. Is there any difference. The intent is the same. George Carlin once used that sort of thing in one of his bits. "I can PRICK my finger, but I can say, your a PRICK" Hmmm makes you think.
