(grunyen @ Jun. 11 2007,00:04) I think Gary Shandling's show was on Showtime... oh wait, unless you mean the one where he was a TV host.
i'm sure he means "The Larry Sanders Show" which starred gary shandling as a tv talk show host and was fucking hilarious. and was on hbo.
and if you're gonna watch tv, you gotta watch hbo.
    the wire.
    deadwood.
    john from cincinnati.
    entourage.
    sopranos.
    curb your enthusiasm.
    big love.
nobody doesn't like at least one or two of those.
though i think they're way overdue for a ladyboy soap opera based in phuket.
    but maybe that's just me.

(SF1B4 @ Jun. 13 2007,08:54) Season 6 finale ends with Boss Sopranos at a dinner table with his wife, son, and daughter.  One assassin comes in and sits at far end of dinner a few minutes later another goes to the bathroom.  Shortly thereafter you hear the bells at the diner entrance door ring, Soprano looks up and the screen goes black -- credits roll -- that's it.

At first was a little disappointed -- then I said oh well probably the best ending to the series -- it allows one to draw their own conclusion.  Was Soprano saved by whoever rung the entrance bell upon entering?  Was he shot in the back of the head by the assassin exiting the bathroom with a pre-planted gun (ala Godfather)?

A sudden ending to a good series.

Ah for fucks sake ... I havent seen it yet and you,ve spoiled it

Why the fuck would you tell everyone what happened? I personally do not watch it but you have probably spoiled it for many viewers.

            no worries, my friend.
the story is not about the ending.
            it's about the getting there.

not to mention, that's not even the same ending i saw.
his daughter's not at the table.
            there is no assassin.
there are, however, a lot of credits rolling at the end.
            a *lot* of credits.

            enjoy

(brocklanders @ Jun. 11 2007,12:22) I am telling you, you should watch "The Wire".  It's based on David Simon's book "Homicide" and is one of the most complex and well-written shows in the history of television.
Great call... This is probably the best American drama I have ever seen. I downloaded series 2 and 3 and watched all of series 2 last night! Can't wait to start on series 3 and start downloading series 4! I suppose i better back track and get series one, too!

                Thanks Brocky...
