    >>I believe in the state of Nevada, it is a legal requirement for brothels.

Your not in Nevada. Bars, Brothels in Thailand are places of business. Not up to them to tell you anything. Treat all lines as live at ALL times. Apart from that you are only as safe as the last customer, test or no test. Apart from that accidents happen!!!

Best wishes for the treatment Gailge.

Well, it is definately good to be safe as possible. I had a GG who wanted me to do her without a condom once, tempted but no way. that is why I can also see how in the heat of passion one can get a little bit careless; not to sat that was the situation with gailge. Covered BJ's from now.

take care and hope it turns out false positive.

        Sorry to read the news....

And disappointed with reaction of the some people here

When someone comes out with this issue... people should show dignity in their responses.

Can you imagine how you would feel with such a life changing moment when someone is told they are HIV positive...

And for all the doubters... its possible to catch HIV by many different methods.... just the chance is minute in most cases... bordering on zero.

But that doesn't mean it cant happen.... For one of our poor fellow members, the dice has not rolled his way...

So people - show some respect - you all should know better!!!

As for names, i guess a forum is maybe not the place to broadcast unconfirmed information, but i am more than happy to receive a private message with the names as the risks are high enough and if some lb is out working, knowingly HIV positive, i want to know as i want to minimize my chances of one day receiving such news as our fellow board member.

(divertwo @ Sep. 20 2007,19:10) Michael Jordon comes to mind when I think of normal, hiv + people.
Or Magic Johnson. Jeez, divertwo, you gotta be more careful on matters like this. What if Jordan uses this board...

D33, is it not our " job" to warn people about immedeate danger? Tsunamis, crackhead waiving his gun in a supermarket, drunk drivers etc., either? We shouldn´t give a shit  about  others ,and just let the people assigned for that "job" do that?
          Such a stupid remark.

I think gailge should tell in pm those who wants to know, not necessairly post it here.

(gailge @ Sep. 20 2007,13:43) .I visited LOS 3 times in the past 18 months and boy did i have fun,I spent most of my time with 4 lbs and didnt indulge in any gg action at all.
Sorry to hear about your state.

Did you spend all time with the same 4 girls on each of your trips? Or more importantly did you spend all your time with all 4 girls on your last trip? Since you have been there 3 times in 18 months it would stand to reason you would have contracted HIV from your last trip since you only tested HIV+ recently.

Or are you saying you may be carrying HIV from up to 18 months ago? In which case all 4 girls come into play.

Can you clarify this as perhaps some of the 4 girls may not be responsible?

Also what did you doctor say when you told him they only way you would have contracted it was through oral sex? Am very curious here as this has been debated on this forum previously.

I hesitate to respond on this subject since I know beforehand that I will be flamed for doing so, but I wholeheartedly agree with Ziggy. I think that gailge should reveal the names of the four LBs to a responsible member of this forum who resides in Thailand such as Stogie or Mardhi or.... (I am nor sure of the names of others who live there). That person should go to each of the four and explain the situation to them and asked them to be tested and present the results to him. They should be warned that if they do not comply that their name will be listed on this forum. The name of the positive one SHOULD be listed, along with the names of the ones who do not choose to get tested. If the positive one works at one of the LB bars, then that bar owner should be notified. I would consider a service such as this to be a membership benefit.

                  Let the flames begin.

if he does not do so here in a PRIVATE forum in the future we may have more stories like this one...
If this forum was private and confidential then you'd be right but as Ziggy reminds us there ARE people out there who have agendas that are contrary to the welfare of members of this forum, the forum and the ladyboys in play...

I'm truly shocked and sorry that one of us has been show positive for HIV and you really do have my sympathy. I can't imagine how it must feel to learn something like that and I really do admire your courage to post here and make us all aware of your plight...

Sure some of the comments have been negative - this is a subject that fills us with shame, horror and revulsion. I hope you manage to keep posting because the more you psot the more you'll win over the negative posters and you'll be taken a lot more seriously.

You can't blame some of us for acting with skeptisism at the outset of this thread...

I still can't see the upside of naming names on the forum as three ladyboys may be irretreivably damaged if you do. On the flip side of that it's information that we want to know and it can help us make decisions about our personal safety in the future.

I really don't know what the answer is. If you want to post the names then go ahead. If you want to share them with someone who can nvestigate further then that's an option also.

I'm sorry you find some comments objectionable and I hope that you continue to post. Attacking the people on the forum (even the negative and skeptical ones) probably won't do much to solve this dilemma, though.

I hope you manage to work something out for yourself now you are back at home...

                      Good luck...
I'm just hazarding a guess here...

Naming names is definitely not the way to go, since that would very quickly degenerate into some guy getting poor service from a girl, making up a dummy account, and posting that he got AIDS from her.

And that's just one way things could get out of hand, I'm sure there are more.

However, that said, the girls in question SHOULD be told and they should be strongly encouraged to go down to the Red Cross and get a REAL test (and not the "test" that some bars give where they ask a girl "have you barebacked anyone recently?" and when she replies "no", they give her a "pass" and she gets to tell everyone she's clean).

Threats from farang (even Stogie or Mardhi) are not going to do it, since in the end, we're all just "customers" and we have practically zero say in how these girls really live their lives.

However, if their mamasan is a sensible person, someone might be able to talk her into telling the girl to get tested. Or better yet, once you find out who the girls are, you have a talk with her "mother" or "older sister" and that'll probably do the trick.

Most ladyboys have a "LB-mother". When a ladyboy first starts out, they know jack-shit about make-up, clothes, and feminine mannerisms (since most don't start dressing until they leave home). Anyone who has seen some first-time femboys knows what I mean. It's not until they get adopted by a more experienced girl who shows them the ropes that they blossom into real ladyboys.

Anyway, that "mother" who adopts them has a huge influence over that girl and a big say in her life. So if you know who the girl's mother is, and you convince the "mother" that the girl needs to get tested, it'll happen.

I believe that the four in questin need to be confronted and asked to take a test. In all reality in this time frame already no telling who else sucked them off or had sex with them..........by now it could be 40 or even 400. If a LB gets upset with being asked the question, then so be it, its a sign of something they want to hide and I am sure other LB would want to know the status as well as the next cusotmer of theirs could have just had the HIV infected LB.......

So if in deed this this fact, the act of oral unprotected sex and what the CDC techs say behind closed doors is bogus. They preach to folks yes its possible but never has been documented, only in theory..........since all test subjects have at least one time been a top or bottom or used and shared needles.so there really has never been any documented studies on a person that never did anyhting but oral done yet, but as they say technically its can as can anything but its highly unlikely...Hell I have had one tell me I have a better chance of winning the lottery than getting HIV from sucking off some guy. Anal or vaginal(sorry for using that vulgar word here , is a whole other story.

                              Sorry to hear this news...

Condoms can break, leak, fluids can escape when condoms come off. Condoms are not considered 100% guarantee against pregnancy, I can't imagine they could be considered 100% against disease transmission.

I think the girls should be privately notified, and if they came from a bar then the bar management should be notified. It's not appropriate to name all the girls in a public forum. It would be against the Privacy laws in Canada to post any of their names, even the one infected - perhaps that's not the case in Thailand.

Turnaround is fair play. If an LB found out she had HIV, should she be able to post the names of all the people she slept with on a site? Shouldn't the LB's be protected against the clients as well?

Ruined reputation OR possible death... I think a ruined reputation is the lesser of two evils! How many of us actually will come in contact with these possibly infected girls?  For us guys who actually make it to Thailand, I would like to know who they are!!!!
