Of course we don't. Most Australians have plenty of English mates and enjoy visits to UK. We just love stuffing you guys at sport. That we haven't this time is fucking disappointing (am really not looking forward to one particular English mate at work tomorrow) but tough shit. We weren't good. You guys were up for it.

He was spot on. There's nothing the world likes better than to beat the English at something.

God knows why... There's no better surefire way to get an opponent wet between the legs than to beat the English at cricket, rugby or... heaven forbid... soccer!

At least on this thread (and generally on this message board) it's (almost) all done in a rational adult way. Of course there is gonna be some chest thumbing when things go right and some gnashing of teeth when they don't. This hating the yanks and big dick posts can be really pathetic to see on some other forums I've joined (and left!)
