Disagree in part Pacman, he should have sorted in out in the bar then & there as to who was responsible for the 17 drinks. Quietly should have asked his GF is she authorised it, if she did, then fair call he would pay it. If not, further escalation needed.

Although my initial reaction would be to deny the bill and take a firm stand, after reading your analysis of the overall situation and potential consequences I think you are correct and OTS did the clear and level headed thing.

Things are bad all over for the girls. I wandered into Cascade last night and as soon as I walked through the curtains I was immediately surrounded by the entire roster of talent. I discovered I was only guy in the bar and all of the gals appeared to be very desperate. They stuck to me like stink on poop!. They were all relentless and would not take no for an answer. I am sure others may think that to be an enviable position to be in, but for me I was much too much intimidated to enjoy the moment. I lasted for only one drink and bolted. When I left I was malled. It can be very disconcerting.

I also visited Guess Bar and it too was void of patrons. Although the style of approach there is not as aggressive as Cascade, nonetheless every lady approached me with a smile and an outstretched hand as they sniffed my level of interest. You could see things were tough for them. I sat with Git Git and bought her a few drinks. She wanted to take me up to their new ST room (350baht) but I declined. I told her I would be back on Saturday, slipped her a tip for her pleasant company and left to stroll down Soi 4. By the way Git Git is very sweet and a terrific kisser. Yummy in fact.

Here's a young lady from Pook Bar, name Lidia. She is 22 & likes... I have no idea. She's a bit quiet. She wants to be an astronaut when she grows up (or maybe not) but in the meantime, she is happy to meet farangs in her bar.

Should you be either lucky enough or wise enough to make her acquaintance, you are in for a treat. Lidia has a look that grows on you. From first noticing her when I didn't give her a thought, I have come to the conclusion that she has the potential to become a star.

Walking down Walking Street in the evening there are many people about but on closer inspection, the foreigners are nearly all Arab or Indian. There are few western faces & take the Russians out of the mix & the numbers are grim indeed.

Because those fellas are not in the bars. Muslims don't drink & the Indians & Russians are too mean to pay bar prices. No wonder the girls are frantic.

Last night I walked miles going past 5 popular destinations & checked the numbers both ways, when I was heading out & coming home. I won't name them but the most I saw were 4 customers in one bar, 2 in two others & the other two didn't have a customer the entire time I was out.

This doesn't auger well in case high season doesn't eventuate but in the meantime, the girls have never been friendlier nor more amenable. Accept that you need to splash a few baht around to keep everyone happy & you can have the holiday of your life right now.

Another girl who caught my eye at Pook Bar is Pla. I met her last year when our resident superstar Juri was holding her hand. I thought I am not going to be able to pry her away from him, his reputation as a swordsman is beyond dispute.

However Juri was soon in a spot of bother when he found his schedule clashed with another he had promised to meet. Like the gentleman he is, he presented Pla to me with his blessing. I had big shoes to fill but while she may have missed out on Juri, I felt I had won the lottery.

However Pla decided that nothing was going to happen that night & I sent her packing without payment. It was only after I talked with her some time that I realised she was the same girl. This year there was no nonsense. Is there such a thing as revenge sex? Who cares? She was good.
