SB, that's a very good report. Spot on in my view and should be considered by the majority as the way it actually is.

As a resident for a long time, it is so important for non residents to gain the 'knowledge' from the locals. A short visit can be spoilt by making the wrong connection.

Everytime I hear a BKK local moan about the "shit pits" I always think they have maybe been in BKK for a bit too long. Think of us poor fuckers who are lucky if we can make it for two weeks a year.

General ramblings...

Cascade does get a lot of new hires each month, typically 2 ~ 5 on the first of the month. Usually easy to pick out but ask if interested. I prefer Cascade if only because it is less crowded, or seems that way as it is larger. They are having their Miss Cascade beauty contest on 29 Dec. (For those out in the provinces the local Miss Tiffany contests are starting up; I went to one last week as was amazed at the talent, some of which will end up in Bangkok soon.) I guess Cascade has been open on these dry days; saw many staff going to work, but hear they might close next weekend.

Temptations is rumored to be for sale (perhaps mentioned previously elsewhere in this forum). The owners (Long Gun, Suzy Wong, Sheba's et al) may want to focus solely on their Cowboy properties. Not sure why there isn't a LB bar in Cowboy? (Yes, I know there are at least a hundred post-ops working there.)

I still think Obsessions has the best beauties for my taste, and they get at least one or two new hires each month. The problem here is, as SB mentions, a lot of the same girls for the past year, and the cuter, newer ones seem to get snapped up rather quickly. I agree the facility itself could use a do-over but am not sure this will ever happen based on the machinations of NEP. Supposedly this bar has the highest revenue, per sq. m in NEP, but I may have misinterpreted that statement (maybe just the highest revenue of the LB bars?). It always seems like it's packed when I go there,although you do get the large group of wanderers (Japanese) who do not realize it is a LB bar and leave after one drink.

From what I've seen, Obsession is probably the most profitable place in Nana. This is based on empirical research watching the crowds at Big Dog's; and sampling at the short time rooms. Half the 'action' seems to be LBs (mostly Obsessions and cascades). Thats 2 bars doing as much 20 GG bars combined.

Last year

I went down to Soi Cowboy to look in a bar for three posties who some guy on here claimed were working. Needless to say they were not there and so i looked in almost every bar and spotted one ugly post op....
In the whole of Cowboy.... OK maybe it was a bad night but...

IMO even if you took a DNA analyser and took secret hair samples of every sex worker you would not find more than 5 posties at say 12PM.  

If there were a 100 posties the place would have its own forum by now...     . Ill put money on it that you will never find 100 POs in this place.

I extrapolated the 100 figure from thirty (30) post-ops I've observed, with an expert in tow who conversed with ~ 5 or so, in six (6) bars on Soi Cowboy over the past three weeks. My extrapolation may be in error as I may have observed most of the post-ops?

How many post-ops in NEP? I'd guess 50 or so but haven't made the rounds of the GG bars recently.
