Until around 2004 the powers that be could not even agree on how to classify addiction . Nicotine releases Dopamine into the bloodstream which can give a feeling of stimulation and /or relaxation and i believe Heroin works in a similar way with a different outcome , the effects soon wearing thin and so you need another fix and another and....

As an occassional smoker myself, it doesn't bother me if someone else wants to light up. Funny thing is, my smoking goes way up when I'm around KL also! I turn into a fuckin' chimney! I will admit kissing a smoker is pretty gross, but that's why God made tic-tacs!
