Sorry about that the computer did a jump on me!!
i was going to say for the most part love Melbourne, But having looked on a few sites Sydney does seem to have by far the better Lb scene, as there is not much talent here in Melb!

This thread has inspired me to add my story for any one thats interested, so here goes.  About 2 years ago i bought (through a shell corporation ltd company) 2 rai of land in the hills of bophut koh samui with stunning views of koh phanang. So far using 1 rai (1600sq mtrs) i have enjoyed the process of watching 2 houses go up slowly, and some times back to front, over the course of 18 months... Thank fully I can go to samui every 6 weeks or so and have a best friend over seeing every thing so things do get put right eventually...The idea is to sell one place and live in the other when its finished in about 8 months. They will be truely stunning and have the best of every thing, pool, bar, gym etc etc. The thought of having my favorite LB or GG up at the pool for a day or two spashing about is a great thought, and the opportunity to go to town and do a trade in an even better one...
The life style i have in the uk is good but doesnt inspire me any more, and to be honest is totally boring and i have totally given up on western women, and the thought of wife and kids was never an option for me...just some thing that after 46 years never appealed.... going into town and drinking or for a curry just doesnt do it for me either. ( no treat at the end of the night, also )
So early next year im going to sell up and move to Thailand and see what comes, dont want to analise it too much because I wont do it..... but i dont want to look back either and think WHAT IF !!!

Too much out there to be living in a box....

Always there is a pros and cons.
But that`s it - or why someone should not move or wait .
Since years my friends tell me for not moving to LOS about they can not understand.  But now the times is coming for me to do it.

I wish you luck, & as another UK dweller I fully understand the disatisfaction you have with this country after 10yrs plus of the present government. They have certainly taken the Great out of Britain.

You pays your money & takes your chance. This isn't a rehearsal do it now, it's no good looking back when it's a lover & wishing.... ITS TOO LATE.

Well said, Foggy!  I cant cope with more than a few weeks in UK without wishing I was in

Hope we hear more of your LOS life.

I've been LOS-free for almost 8 months now and while I miss the damn place, and dream of it quite frequently, I've found other things that are attractive to me - namely a loving girlfriend/best-friend, some great friends, and my family. The things that I've done with them have made me closer to all of them over the past 6 months and no matter how tempting ladyboys are, I don't think I could trade this life for the one that would tear me away from all that I have here in the US. So I'm afraid its just a matter of your priorities and what you want to do. I guess, I'll just be relegated to the odd side trips here and there hehe.
I'm a rough-ridin', hootin' and hollerin', ladyboy lovin' cowboy! Bang bang yer dead!!!
