In Los Angeles they have been studying a group of local male Porno Stars since 2004 who rode bareback...I dont know the sample group but i assume it wasnt thousands..This was published two weeks ago in the Medical Press and i can dig it out if anyone wants it.

I lived with an HIV posotive LB for over 2 years, bareback all the way. She was a "bottom only" so I got no backdoor action.
I am HIV negative, was tested every 2 months - twice now since leaving her, the last time 4 months after leaving. From this I figure that taking it up the shitter (which I like a lot) is the most dangerous activity.
I also avoided swallowing sperm, apart from a few occasions.
I do know that contracting HepC is almost impossible from having sex - unless blood is involved somewhere.
It is cureable, best results if you DON'T have type A, are under 40, and are female. Also some genotypes are relatively easily cleared up.
The cure, however, has side effects that are permanent, and in some cases, worse than the effects of the disease.

We both got tested , at my insistence, at the beginning of our relationship, soon after she moved in. She tested +ve, got a different test done for confirmation, and was suitably unhappy. She was only 24.
Seeing as I was 60, and believed, from reading & from reliable informed sources, that HIV was difficult to catch for a circumsised male NOT indulging in getting his ringpiece enlarged by a horny ladyboy, I decided that the risks were worth it.

I just hope that my experience is typical, and that it should give hope to those whose condom split, etc.

At 60, having abused my body in many creative ways, I guessed that the consequences of contracting HIV were nowhere near as bad as for, say, a 24 yr old.

The HIV virus is a (relatively) big virus. It is also very delicate, & cannot survive even short periods at other than body temperature. Thus, if you'r uncircumsised, and the virus gets under your foreskin, that bell-end cock sock will keep it nice & warm.
That is, AFIK, the situation vis-a-vis circumsised/uncircumsised cocks - not cleanliness, or whatever. Tho a good build up of cheese may well exacerbate the situation.
