Until now I have never met a LB who would allow me do BB. Not that I would want it. In the case of GGs the chance to do BB is nearly 100%. I think that LBs take a lot more care than GGs and hense I am happy about it. In my opinion it is very wise to use condom and I always do. Only BJ is done without.

I think they all know the risks, but they don't think about the future (same reason as why most of them don't save money).

I think those who don't think about the future consequences of their present acts are also likely to do other whacky things (stealing, drugs, worse...) and are "not in control", so I limit interaction to a short time.

after the intial check for all std's, the clinic if you are in Uk will ask you to come back again for another test for hiv as they do say you must check after 3 months from when you think you were put at risk (last sexual activity without protection or failed protection) as the virus can be hard to detect stright away.
so even tho you were clean last week, im sure it might still wonder in your mind and check after the 3month barrier aslong as you have been careful since or you have to start all over again.

Made the mistake of getting wankered and having sex with some free lancer "bareback"...i actually convinced myself that I had HIV...Got tested and everything turned out OK, but for 6months i felt like my life was gone and I didnt have nothing to live for....never again will I bareback not unless Im in a proper relationship and know everything about the girl. Trust me lads on this one its not worth the risk. Been there done that, and dont want the picture.

Thailand is the number 1 testing place for a vaccine. It says a lot about the state of HIV in this country: you do not do the biggest ever test in a healthy country, do you?
However, it is certainly not as bad as in Swaziland where 40% of the population is infected (yes, official data...). Malawi should come close from it, and RSA is also an unfortunate top ten...

Now, let us imagine that a vaccine comes a day, which would be great for millions of people.
Talking casually this morning with 3 doctors from MSF (medecins sans frontieres) about the article, they told me something a bit scary:
- €œyes, we know about the tests... Problem is that many HIV infected people are told also by friends: don€™t worry: a vaccine will come and cure you. Because of this, there are many men who just don€™t care any more and think that whatever they do is fine, because they will have a cure a day€¦ but the truth is: no one knows if it will be in 5 or 10 or perhaps 50 years from now...€
