wow this thread died off.. just wanted to add my 2 cents since im a new member.. I have gone bareback here a few times over the few years but these were with GG's and they were long term girlfriends.. One i lived with more then a year and the other was my gf for 4 months.. but neither of them were working at bars or ever did to my knowledge.

As far as LB's ever since a friend of mine recently became HIV+ who also comes to pattaya got it I always test the lbs when i go with them, i want to know what kind of awareness is out there now.. so I will always ask them do you use condom or not? most of them always say yes (i never had one that said no) and if they say no i ask if it can be done.. and in my experience about 66% say no and i ask them why would they not use a condom (the answer I get is because im a young guy and not look like i have sick). I never do accept if they say yes they can go bareback.. im only 25 I wouldnt risk losing the rest of my life for a 5 second orgasm.

I think the government really needs some programs for awareness, it is really sad here on how much thai people know about HIV and any other stds and the risks involved.

Did it just happen? I remember i went bareback with my first GG gf here.. we had sex many times before but with a condom, we were both really drunk and went bareback, i woke up the next morning feeling the same way.. like wtf did i do? And worried so much i would see something wrong. It can take up to three months after infection with HIV before the antibodies show up in your blood. These three months are called the window period. A test done before these three months are over isn't reliable because a blood test may find no antibodies and so you will appear free of HIV, even though the reality is that you have been infected (and could pass HIV on to others).

People who test positive for HIV do not necessarily have AIDS. Many people are HIV-positive but don't show symptoms of illness for years, if at all.

Yep they say 3 weeks to 3 months for the antibodies to show up for HIV. I did go 2 months after but this was more then a year ago and had another HIV since that time.

made the mistake once, and had unprotected anal with a quite well known pattaya girl
and really it was down to just getting carried away with the moment!!
but then was scared shitless for the rest of my stay (still 5 days left)

Twenty years ago, i saw 3 friends of mine die of AIDS, and even to t-day, it still haunts me to see how stupid people can be with a few drinks inside of them, i would never take the risk, even going to the STD test clinic and getting checked out is a nightmare, because i always bump into someone i know, either inside or outside the clinic, and word always gets back that i have been fooling around again.
