I just recently, in Pattaya, had a girl try twice to slip off her raincoat during a session. I think she was or is a bit off in the mental department

(hank @ Jul. 27 2007,14:16) None of us are likely to be HIV
Unfortuantely, it's almost a certainity that at least Forum member is HIV+.
Same same for ladyboy sex workers except change "extremely small" to "very small" or just plain "small"

(stogie bear @ Apr. 05 2007,00:01) A normal healthy circumcised man who has normal sex with a ladyboy isn't gonna have too much of a risk factor with AIDS.
(Let the flaming begin...)
Herpes, alone, is more than enough reason to cover up.
Unless you LIKE having annual outbreaks of painful sores for the rest of your life.
Then there's hepatitis, which'll kill you (or just your liver) as sure as a bullet if you get one of the nastier strains.
Oh and then there's a bunch more than I can't be bothered to Google the correct spelling.
Suffice to say, if you think AIDS is all hype and therefore it's OK to ride the pony bareback, think again.
Rashes, sores, and potential impotence are still out there.
Cover up.

I have said this before and I will say it again. 4 years ago when I started coming to Thailand I cannot remember a girl who would do it without a condom. Fast forward to now and I would say mabe 20% of girls have been pro active in ensuring a rubber is worn. In fact some insist on fucking without one.
Your best bet is to be pro active yourself and have one at the ready before starting your nighly endeavours.

Just to add my 2 bahts worth (or sitang if you want....) I've noticed there's a definate change in attitude in the last 12 months or so....... before there was never even a question of a condom(s) not getting used, but these days, every LB I've ended up in bed with, be they from Nana, street walkers, or pulled in clubs, I've really had to force the issue.... to the point where they are angry with me for insisting....It's like "you think I have problem?" or "you think I sokapop (dirty)"
My usual response to placate them a bit is something along the lines of "no, but how you know I don't have problem?" - in the vague hope it'll make them think twice next time..... I really am surprised at this attitude, and tbh it's a fucking nightmare..... those sort of temptations are very hard to resist, I'll admit to having been very, very close to not caring, but luckily common sense always prevails, a moment of pleasure is not worth the months of uncertainty that would surely follow....
Strange, strange times indeed, and at the risk at sounding preachy, those that do BB should go and get a test just to be certain....yes it's a head fuck whilst you're waiting for the results, but there's also an overwhelming relief when you get you negative status confirmed....

i have not met any lb who would even think of it, although i expcct there a few who would for enough cash , the has been a report published in the uk that there in an alarming increase in hiv + in uk because people have tended to forget that it is still very much around. if this is the case it is likely to be the same in se asia the same . and old navy expression... beware the rocks of the dreaded pox, wear sox on your cocks.

For those of us older than 20 yrs, In 1992 there was a famous Thai politician, Mechai Viravaidya (Dr. Condom) who was 100% SUPPORTED by the Prime Minister of the day. Huge amount of education and free condoms handed out at Thai night life and brothels everywhere. Now a new generation who has NO KNOWLEDGE of this or why wearing a condom is useful. They don't know (or maybe care) where AIDs, & other STD/STI etc comes from or how they may be spread. I agree with others, in the last year or so "condom optional" for many girls. It's insane.

(Monkey @ Nov. 25 2007,15:25)...but surely they care about themselves???
Going home to Issanville and working in the rice fields for 200 baht a day...eating papaya 3 or 4 times a day because the ingredients grow right outside your door...Watching crap Thai soaps and falling asleep...Only to wake and start the process all over...
Is it Friday or Wednesday???"It's not Gay if you beat them up afterwards." --- Anon
