(striker @ Apr. 12 2007,12:38) I really have to think that this poll is more fantasy than reality.
no, it's real.... I have lived it and see it first hand

Or, if you really want to barf, check out some "other" websites these days where girls we all know [and DON'T love] are taking it up the arse live on the internet with no boots..... pretty weird stuff and very bad for their hooking careers, their health, and the health of every other guy they fuck; including you if you're not careful.
Guilt is Gods way of telling you you're having too much fun.

        Hmm, ok. Let me ask you guys;
what visual signs of std´s or hiv could a infected person(lb) have? Is there anything you should look for?
I live in a western european country , so the awareness and info on especially hiv is good, i know about the weightloss, endless infections, skinrashes etc, but thats in a later stage of the dicease, right? I am most worried about hiv since there is no cure. Is there any typical sign of hiv(not aids) infection?

I am very clueless about drugs, since i don´t use them or try to stay away from users, but one thing got my attention, 3-4 lb´s that i think uses drugs had red eyes, the white of the eye had a slightly red, pink color. I asked and they gave me all kinds of explanations, some better than others.
The worsed was that she had some kind of rare dicease that made her skinny if didn´t take her medication, she pointed to her throat and stomach and i think she meant her bodys ability/enzymes disorder to take care of the vitamins/food in what she eats, and she couldn´t afford that medicin now.

But anyways, i know i have expressed a lil bit of live and let live, no worries attitude in this subject, but i´d appreciated some feedback of signs and red flags on the lb´s we meet and want to keep on meeting.

        Thanks

I think you can only use common sense and that will have a dubious result at best.

If she has something that ain't normal, like red spots (sign of Herpes, sometimes), pimples, or anything unusual, and/or if she doesn't particularly keep very clean (many a LB take a shower and do not wash their dick, unbelievably), then make an instant judgement of what type of sex you will or will not do. The best time to do this is in the shower with lights on and you washing her while you take a quick look.

This is far, far, far from perfect, but if you're going to do anything, that's about the best you can do, aside from using a condom for both oral and intercourse.

But, let's face it, this is not a low risk endeavour, i.e., having sex with professional sex workers. Exactly how risky it is who knows, that's what all the debates are here.

Having read this post I have to admit that some of the forum buddies scare the hell out of me.I never ever would have assumed that so many of us can be this ignorant. Not using a condom with a LB or GG is even more serious than playing Russian Roulette. I really don't see any excuse to compromise one's own or the life of others.

              Guys start thinking.

I knew a ladyboy who worked at patpong who had AIDS (past tense since she is dead now). A very sweet and beautiful girl from Surin and only 24 at the end. She grew resistant to the medicine and was so thin she could not move and I could not recognize her anymore, defecated herself, and could handle only a bit of spoon fed rice soup a day. None of her friends from the bar wanted to hear about it. In her last days I was the only one there.

It does seem to be a worldwide phenomenon, i think there is also a belief now that HIV is a chronic illness that you probably won't die from if you take the pills. (which of course 3rd world countries don't have)

It wouldn't be pleasant to get, I mean it's got to be in the same categories as being told you've got Hep B, Diabetes, Heart Disease etc and it would have a serious impact on your life.

Stats from many Western cities quite clearly show a massive increase in infectiom rates co-inciding with increased complacency amongst the gay communities and condom usage.

                        Donnnnny and Stogie

Read this and reconsider. With an attitude like yours it will never stop; foolish; foolish and very very "nice " towards all the girls you go with

                        • When infections from a particular disease grow, they can reach one or more tipping points, and AIDS in Asia may be at one or more ...

AIDS and Tuberculoses from Russia have become rampant because around 2 million Russians are in jail at any one time (about 1.5% of the population) and prison sex, intravenous drugs with dirty needles, and lots of illicit medicine are creating extremely resistant forms (no drugs are effective). Tuberculoses is the bigger worry now because it can be spread by a public sneeze or hand shake...death comes with weeks. This is why XDR Tuberculoses patients in the US and elsewhere are being put under house arrest.

The concern in Asia is Vietnam, where there is runaway intravenous drug abuse ... and AIDS ... and unprotected sex ...all complement each other. But AIDS is hard to catch, and it takes a long time to die ... so there is a tendency to ignore trends. But it's clear that numbers are going up, and the fear is that there will be a tipping point soon.

Of course, when you reach a tipping point, it may take several years for people to notice

                          • Why take the chance.... Take the attitude that all guns are loaded and all snakes are poisonous and you shouldn't have any trouble. It's like reaching through a fence to pat a dog, 99% are ok, but you always remember the one that bites you

Now heres something to really worry about given the large number of lowlife scum russians in Pattaya, not to mention the european countries close to that sesspool of crime, diceases and toothless inbreeds. I wish the ironcurtain never would´ve come down.
Thank you for pointing this out , Groundhog.

Tuberculoses is spreading like wildfire in Thailand right now. I know THREE girls who picked it up within the past 4 months. One of them I am close with and went to the doc with her, doc told me it is becoming a huge problem there.
