Apparently this is not true. The prepuce is covered with gp120 (HIV) receptors; the rest of your dick is not. Circumcision lowers HIV risk by cutting off the receptor laden portion of Mr. Roger.

Even though I'm circumcised, I don't think that the risk of HIV is low enough for me to go bareback (not unless the girl agreed to a swab test in advance). I think the level of infection in ladyboys in the bar scene is a moving target, and there seem to be indications of increased infection rates approaching or exceeding 20%. Even if the risk of infection from anal sex is 1:2000, that still means after enough sessions that your risk is going to reach unacceptable levels.

I also think that intravenous drugs are a bigger risk ... I say this, because the LB's that use drugs very likely will be at high risk.
