Noon was pretty good with e-mails as well.... probably because she had someone who was 100% fluent writing them and there was not a word spelled wrong, ever!   I'd get 'em and laugh and send back "come on Noon, it's me .... you don't have to scam me with those perfect letters and 'I cant wait till you come back' BS.

I'd get a reply a few days later in broken english typed by her hand.... much better.

great point ..... my last 3 times in BKK no one knew my number save for falangs and a few friends like Chompoo, et al .... and if a number shows up which I don't recognize I just don't pick it up. hell, don't give out your number and you will never get the 'call back' and who wants that? if you liked a LB you know most likely know where to find her, so just go there again.

I find that when in Thailand the fone in the "off" mode works best anyway, only turning it on when you need to make a call.

If you do hand out your number do expect to be called or texted ,it will happen , so be selective just who you give your number to .

Believe me I learnt my lesson a long time ago , 4 am calls offering undying love are no joke , especially when you are thinking -God if she really loves me that much surely she still will in another 5 hours or so when its actually a sensible hour .

Ciobha will verify this , I had a girl a few years back who used to call me at ungodly hours and sing to me , she actually had a lovely little voice and was quite talented , but those late night /early morning concerts were a bugger when I was getting up for work in a few hours

Lovely girls here.

Girls I meet three years ago still remember me.

I never took them home, just a drink and talk.

Last nite one of them just stayed and talk with me for about 3 hours, saying she did not want to look for customer, only wanted to talk with me. I told her I know she need to work and make money. She got very angry and told me she only wanted to talk with me, no BS!

Went to the ATM and she promised to wait for me. Took about 20 minutes to find an ATM that accepted my card.

Went back and she was still there waiting for me.

To test her I went for a smoke.

After that she still waiting, mind you she did not have a drink to nurse and many good looking punters looking for someone to spend the nite with.

Talked with her for another hour and got many insight in her mind.

She did not really understand why, as before the LB scene in SG was centered around girls that had the full.

this holds true for letters also ..... a Thai person [or even their translator] would have problems with most of the novels I have seen written by lovestruck falangs to their potential love .....  keep it short and simple, as in "I will be in Bangkok on friday, would you like to meet for a dinner and a few drinks?"

    Multi-syllabic words, long stories about your lifestyle in Bristol or Brisbane, telling how hot she looks in her photos on the net, even descriptions and photos of yourself usually mean not too much, just get to the point and keep it brief.

Just back from the four floors.

The girl I was talking about just went right to me as soon as I entered.

She was talking with some guy but went straight for me.

Had a wonderfull discussion about our lifes and places to go for a nice holiday in Thailand.

She told me she wanted to show me Koh Lanta and do some scuba diving without any charge for her staying with me.

Another one of the girls I know for 5 years also told me she wanted to join and just have a nice time.
