Riga= best mamasan in NEP

I was talking to Riga, Mamasan at Obsessions last night and I promised her I'd give her a positive mention here.

If you get to know her she has a great sensitivity to the customers' needs. I was having a bit of an issue at Obsessions... I want to be a butterfly, but the lb I recently went with long time didn't see eye to eye with me on that... and I didn't want to hurt her feelings cuz whe is a sweeti. But Riga took care of everything in a professional manner that ensured nobody lost face.... So thumbs up to her

By the way, while I'm posting I wanna mention that no. 43 at Cascade is a messed up Yaba freak, and no. 73 gives awful service. Not bashing them, just giving a heads up.

Yes, i agree, she is OK and quite pleasant and the best mamasan i know by a long way. Thumbs up, she keeps a good house. Actually the last dozen times i went in Obsessions it was great and we all had a good time.

It certainly dont get much better than this place.

I am curious what Riga did exactly to "took care of everything in a professional manner that ensured nobody lost face."? I'm pretty sure someone lost some face but the OP probably missed it.

I think that Obsessions is still very poorly managed. The manager (also a LB, and not half-bad looking), while nice, is in over her head there, IMO.

The best Mamasan to have ever worked in the LB Bars in Nana is "Mamasan Tac" formerly of Obsession Bar and Cascade Bar. Now she is the Mamasan at the Lady Bar to the the right of Temptation Bar. She was always ready to help me, no attitude and when she would would sit with me I was never bothered by the LB'S looking for an easy mark. Top class lady in my book and whenever my "sweetie" and I are back in Bangkok we always stop by her bar and say hello. One of the best pieces of advice I ever got from the late, great Jon/Jai Dee was to make friends with the Mamasan of the two tops LB Bars in Bangkok, it made things a lot easier for us guys. Good advice to pass along to the "Newbies" just coming on the scene in Bangkok.

I have to agree with the original poster, Riga is very good.

A few baht tip, and a couple of drinks and you are ensured a hassle free time.

Despite what some say, it is always a good idea to look after the mamsan, you never know when their help will be needed.
