Agree with Stoogie about TeeTee. Fantastic girl but if you bar fine her and take her back to your hotel expect that she's going to be in one of the shortest skirts you'll ever see.

Last time I took her back it was hilarious to see every guy check her out on the way down Soi4. 90% would have no idea she's a Ladyboy. I think that was the funniest bit.

The thing that grows on you living in Thailand is a spiritual freedom. It takes a while to shed your paranoia, but once it's gone then you really are free to do what you want and you'll never feel less about yourself.

This is so TRUE. I don't live in Thailand but just my short vacations there bring me spiritual freedom.
I too do not care and probably prefer to be a bit of provocative. Funny thing is, since I am Asian, I get people talking to me in Thai all the time when I am by myself. But when I have companies, right away I am mistaken as Japanese ...

It took me a bit of time to overcome the walk of shame sort of feeling. But then I realized that hey I dont need to care what others think. As far as they are concerned I am just an old monger, no matter what I do. So with that in place for the most part I just relax and enjoy myself. Lets face it I am 57 and when I am with a 20 year old GG or LB that pretty much establishs my persona as far as most people are concerned. So what difference is it if my escort looks her part.

I guess I always considered the walk of shame to be when one left Nana but suppose it could equally refer to when entering the hotel.

I think early on I felt uneasy when walking out with a ladyboy. Now I love it.

As I said in the Bkk hotels thread - the 'walk of shame' as it was coined was originally when debating about walking into your hotel with a hooker and all the hi-so's working on reception as well as other western guests seeing you arm in arm with a girl of the night. This came up many many times on sites like Nanaplaza.com and it specifically related to the guys who were coming into BKK on company expense accounts and staying in 5* hotels - so often the question was - 'how long is the walk of shame?', 'do you go past the lobby staff to the lifts', 'Will the staff stop my guest' etc etc. As I say, its never really been about that specific walkway through Nana Plaza as lets face it, everybody is in that area for the same thing - not always the same thing if your walking through the lobby of the four seasons with Tee Tee on your arm and your company president sitting in the lounge spots you and calls you over as your face goes a deep shade of red.

5* hotels should act with discretion to their clients always, if i was accosted in the lobby after paying some outrageous fee i would kisk ass. I remember walking through the long Mandarin oriental lobby in Hong Kong with a right slut and no one batted an eyelid. Thats what you pay your money for.

Hotel staff in Thailand only apply discretion to your face - behind your back they are as big a gossiper as couple of old wifes with nothing better to do - Couple of years ago a Thai Senator from some place like Udon Thani, always stayed at the Dusit Thani hotel and was found dead there one day. The very next day the hotel had confirmed that he always had the same prostitute visit him in his room which of course ended up as a quote in the Bangkok Post - off course the hotel knew he was married with a family - but they showed no 'discretion' on what they publicly announced to the press.

Well I have never read nanaplaza.com and I only ever heard people talk about the walk of shame in regards to walking out of Nana with a ladyboy so I would say the origin of term might be debatable . Given there are probably a lot more people around in and outside Nana seeing what you are doing than in the lobby of your hotel it made sense to me that this is what it meant.

Others may think about it differently but it seems many think the same as me when they hear term to make it equally as probable that this is the meaning. Nevertheless I no longer feel awkward when walking arm in arm with a stunning ladyboy either walking out of Nana or into my hotel.

Or maybe a "triple" feeling if she is less than half your age............I guess for me having come from a puritanical, western culture, the

Now I think about it, when I b/fined TeeTee, we went to st room in Nana.  Almost always went st in those days, and never took LB back to hotel.  But now I would be delighted.....

Eye is another looker who likes the micro top / micro belt look.  On another thread, i described her wanting to change into something smarter for our visit to disco.  For 200 baht, she re-dressed in even tighter/shorter clothes........on the stall at the entrance to Nana, with gawping onlookers, meanwhile asking my opinion.  After that experience (which was hilarious), I lost all worry about the so-called walk of shame!!
