- 650 is for the room for the night, not just short time - which is 350
- 2000 (or whatever you negotiate) is for the girl tip short time, not all night - that will be more

True, but if price were the sole factor in every purchasing decision, we'd all be drinking water (6 baht a bottle), eating chicken satay (5 baht a stick), and taking the non-aircon buses around town (4 baht a ride). Everyone would wear flip-flops, sleep in backpacker hostels, and smoke generics.

Is Pattaya cheaper? Yeah.

Is Nana cheaper? Yeah.

My question to you is: So what?

Some people come to Thailand in search of the cheapest fuck they can find. And they get exactly what they pay for: the cheapest fuck.

Some people are less concerned about money and more concerned about the quality of their experience. Like I've said before in that other thread: to each his own.

If the Guess Bar is too pricey for your tastes, then look elsewhere, there are PLENTY of options. But don't rag on the place for trying to offer something different. Every other place in Thailand is always seeking to appeal to the lowest common denominator. Which is fine, if that's your thing.

However, I--for one--don't mind if the prices are a bit higher because that'll discourage all the drunken idiots who frequent Nana (seeking the cheapest fuck/beer they can find) from coming into the Guess Bar and killing my buzz. Those chuckleheads are almost as annoying as the aggressive, drug-addicted Amazons who fleece them.

It always baffles me how I can get flamed in one thread by people who say I'm being a cheap crybaby because I expect the bar owners to give me a better experience for the price of my over-priced beer. But then in this thread, I have to defend my right to spend more to GET MORE.

If the almighty exchange rate makes you guys so wealthy that you can afford to drink over-priced beers in a shitpit and not care about getting fleeced, then how come you STILL seek out the cheapest fucks you can find??

Your dollars already go A LOT farther than my baht, so why complain about ST/LT/BF prices?

You know, it's strange, but it seems to me that some guys are more willing to pay extra for BEER than SEX. Anyone else get that impression?

Anyway, you go to Pattaya and Nana if you like. And when one of those yabaa-crazed whack-jobs pulls a knife on you to try to force you to pay her an extra 1000 baht for a lackluster handjob (happened to me once), I hope you hear these words of mine in the back of your head:

I'm not concerned with price and but with value.

Thailand is a 3rd world country.  Bangkok is not London, Paris, New York, Tokyo, or even Singapore.  2,000 Baht short time is WAY TOO MUCH for Thailand regardless of how nice the bar.  

When you consider a ST price of 2,000 Baht along with the recent increases in air fares, hotel room prices, drinks, and food (farang food), Thailand is IMO no longer worth making the trip.  
Tourism is reportedly down as much as 50% for this time of the year and this must be one of the factors involved.

Some of you rave about Janny/Jenny. She was a 500 Baht ST/1,000 LT girl at Hi Boss not too long ago and just last month was happy to get 500 to 1,000 ST at Stringfellows. I know her well and wouldn't pay her 2,000 ST if she was the last piece of ass on the planet, because I see no "value there."

If it were Rose from Pattaya, who I think is one of, if not the best fuck I have ever had, I still wouldn't pay her 2,000 ST.

Again, it is not a matter of money, I've paid a lot more elsewhere, but the market in Thailand doesn't warrant it.  

It is this kind of nonsense, over paying by guys with more money than any fucking commonsense that has ruined the market. Total, unbelievable, stupidity!

I dont know where you guys are getting this notion of 2000B ST as being the standard at Guess Bar - from what I understand its completely between you and the girl. Indeed one of the TOP girls in Guess mentioned as she was chatting to me last week she had just gotten 1000b ST from a guy. everything depends on how the girl feels - I have also seen examples of girls quote 5000b ST as they did not want to go with a guy for whatever reason, e.g drunk, stank, druggie, whatever. Equally one guy drinking with me last week told me that one semi-superstar had quoted him 4k for a LT in Nana - she would not move on the rate so he found someone else. This is high season - its a sellers market - the girls who are good looking and in demand know that - just recognise its the case and assess your options from there.

To say this bar is expensive is unreal it is approx: 20-30% cheaper than the gogo's in Nana. I struggle to spend 2k in Guess Bar in a whole night but can spend that easily in 90 minutes in Obsession. What happens between the girl and the guy is entirely up to you. Sure Pattaya is cheaper as are rents, police money, salaries (if they pay any) etc - thats just a fact of life between Bangkok and Pattaya.

So by your calculation 2850 baht is what about 70 Euro I believe, which means you can take a girl out of a bar in Europe, screw her and pay for a room? Somehow I don't believe that but who am I to know, I have not lived in Europe for 10 years but last time I took a hooker in London it cost me $300 for a very mediocre performance.

You are the buyer - you choose if you want to pay the money or not. Personally I have never spent more than 2000 baht on a LB or Girl for a overnight experience let alone a ST in Thailand. Each to their own but I have equally never been turned down. You guys are really getting carried away with this infactuation about price - just shop around - nothing in the bars is carved in stone as far as girl prices go however its your peers that are creating the pricing pressure - you want the superstars- you pay their price or go and find somebody else who will accept something more acceptable to you - there are lots of them around. The reality is that the superstars are very wealthy - they can afford to pick and choose - simple matter of economics - someone with 500,000 baht in their bank account may decide that 1000 baht for a fuck is not worth it - just accept it and dont get so hung up about it.
