I get to Thailand so seldom that when I do, money is not really a constraint. If the girls want to charge 6000 baht, that's fine, on one condition ... do it up front, and don't complain, or nickle and dime me once we've settled, or tell me what I owe because that's what I paid someone else. I just hate to be bugged over the bill ... it's like having a waitress hover over your shoulder while you are writing in the tip. When a girl does this to me, I'll go out of my way to piss her off, including no tip, and comments to make sure that she understands why. It seems the only way to control this whining is to get rude; it spoils your whole evening. Yuch!

I remember a couple of years ago a thread on another forum about picking up LB's in Limpini Park in BKK.
Prices quoted for them were 500 ST and 1000 LT. Some would even go LT for 500! The bar girls were getting about 1000ST and 1500-2000 LT then.

Why were the Limpini Park LB's charging less? Because they spoke only Thai and normally their punters were Thai and they only paid that much  
I bet that is what they still pay.

It's people paying 'silly money' that put the prices up for every one. In the long run it will not do us or the LB's any good.
As Blue Ballz says they will not have any punters because we are not prepared to pay their prices.

Pay them a fair price - if she's good to you - be good to her.
I don't think less than 1000 LT is fair and then only if you give her 1-200 for the taxi - 6000! my response would be take a hike!
Also ALWAYS agree the price up front - that way when it comes to pay time there is no argument.

One thing to remember for those that pay the bottom rates - these girls are not only trying to earn money for themselves to live - they are also sending money back to their families. There is no welfare system in Thailand.

It really spoils my day. My preference is to be pleasantly surprised, and then drop a few thousand B at the end as a 'tip'

Why are all the bars in Nana empty right now ? Because guys are fed up with bar rip offs , 125bt for a Heinie, girls pulling stupid bollocks over ST's i.e. Anna asking me for 3000bt which combined with the usual low season lull has made the place dead.
Remember once you start paying 6000bt for a ST not only the girl you pay it to then expects it but she tells her mates and they tell her mates and so on and before long they all want it.

hey guys... all this talk about paying big money for a stort time is crazy... if the bars at NEP are raising there rates there are other places to go for LBs in bkk... the honey bar is only1000st with NO baffine... also i have posted before what NEP is like at closing time.. i know for a fact that if you stand out in front of nana plaza at closing time there are plenty of pretty ladboys that will jumped at the 1000baht st price...i would bet my life on this...

i do know some of the girls that work at NEP.. take the obsessions for example... a typical LB at OBs gets a salary of around 5500bt a month.. if you add her drink reciepts and all her dates, a pretty LB at OBs makes on the average 20000, 30000baht a month.. that over six-or seven times more than the average thai working in a store...so guys don't feel to sorry for these ladyboys.. by thailand standards they are doing pretty damn good.. if you go to a bar and start throwing your money around you have big 'bullseye' on your back. i wil be in bkk in a couple of weeks and i will see for myself..

there is the pattaya altenative though... as the sun goes down in pattaya the ladyboys come out in droves.. the beach rd is ful of them.. last febuary i was walking on the beach rd and went with a very pretty LB for 500bt st and 100bt for a st hotel.. her price not mine... rod

Yes I agree with you 1000 Baht ST is the going rate after 2 am. You should get around 1500-2000 Baht LT. That's about what I normally pay.
From what I know that is a 'fair rate' for the job.

A young lady that was working for a short while at Obs told me she was on 7000 Baht/month. She was required to arrive for 7 pm and to stay to 2 am unless barfined before. They are required to get so many lady drinks and so many bar fines per month. I don't have the details of these at the moment. I will be trying to update my information shortly.

For every minute that she arrived late she was fined 1 baht. ie i hour late means a loss of 60 Baht off her pay at the end of the month.
Most of the more popular girls arrive late as a sort of badge of honour!

Your figures for earnings are about the same as my information. Average earnings 15000 Baht/month. Top rate around 30000 Baht.
Superstars perhaps and I mean perhaps 40-45000 per month. Only a very few get that sort of rate! One name I know on that rate retired about 18 months ago and is no longer working. Pity that I would have liked to have had the pleasure

The earnings for a waitress in Woodstock (NEP 2nd floor) is 4000 baht per month. Hair dressers about the same. The hotel receptionist in the Dynasty hotel gets about 6-7000 Baht per month. The ones in the GP about 7000. I have a pretty good idea what Jane (the one featured on the site) was earning in her previous job.
Suffice to say her 'escort' work is a better proposition.

Outside BKK yes I would say take about 500 Baht less on each of the rates. I would suggest (SUGGEST) 1000 ST and 1500 LT. Some girls will accept less some will ask for more. It's up to your conscience/how much your wallet will bear/how good she is. Again some of the superstars will ask for more.

I treat my ladies as ladies. I take them away for the night - wine and dine them and pay them 2000 Baht LT. Not one has complained.
One did bale out on me after what could be called a short time - I paid her 1500. She started to complain and then did the arithmatic - and then shut up.
I have always got on well with her except in the hotel room - we just don't get on there! Most other people find she is good but we just don't hit it off in the hotel - I guess it's me. Sometimes when the girls are good I give them a bit extra. Depends how I feel.
