since I am going to the LOS soon  I  have had to start making some fone calls to the usual suspects and let them know that I am coming back.  I talked to Ponlien and May and a few others; at 30 cents a minute it's  quite reasonable and I can cover more ground than in an e-mail.  

anyway,  I was  speaking to one of the models yesterday and she   should remain nameless but she works at Obsessions and this will tell you the typical mindset of a bargirl in  Bangkok.   she says that she is happy because this site has sent her a lot of customers,  but then she says that "Your  customers  do not pay very well; most only pay 1500 or 2000 for short time".  After I reminded her that I NEVER tell the customers what to pay, that it is always up to them,  I reminded her that the freelance girls that walk sukhimvit  would be happy with 1000 short time and some would even take 500 late at night for s/t.   She says yes, that is true, But I do not 'walk around',  I work in a bar.

  Just to let you guys know.  I have always said that the days of 1000st/2000lt are long over, but from what I read on other message boards and even some of the other comments here,  some guys are getting away with paying much less.  The  girls in the bars seem to think that they should be getting more; it's up to you guys to decide whether or not that is true, and as Tonio says  for us Americans it is getting more expensive by the day.

 as always, I just say "be fair".  I will not tell one person what to pay and what not to pay; that is entirely up to you guys.

It's a buyers market. If the sellers don't like the margin of profit then either come up with a better product or aim for a more diverse demographic.

2,000 Baht ($40) for a couple of hours seems more than fair to me. If the girls don't like 1,000 Baht an hour, tell 'em to try factory work.

right...a typical non-skilled laborer makes about 6000 baht per month in Thailand, maybe 7 or 8000 if they are very lucky. These girls can make that in 2 or 3 nights in Obs and it pisses me off that they are greedy in some cases. this girl is a good friend but i will be looking at our relationship differently now. and, if I ever take her out again, she will get 1000 or 1500 and like it.

As a waitress in Thailand you earn about 5000 B a month - as a factory worker 3000 - 4000 B. Just to give you guys an impression what it means to say I don't like 2000 for st. Of course everybody tries to sell his ass as expensive as possible, but it's the same if you go to your regular pub and they charge you 10 bucks for a beer, just because they think they deserve it....
You are the market, therefore you make the prices. If some girls want 3000 for st, fine,if they tell me this I tell them I take 2000 for a bj - so maybe we can make a deal!

Fourty bucks for a few hours is a great price ! ...Compaired to what we get at home. But in BKK She would have to be a superstar. The problem with that is , the " superstar's ( beautiful ) are usually rather boring in bed. Back to square one eh.

Gotta say it - some of these girls are downright greedy. The comments on unskilled labourers earning 6ooo Baht a month are very true. Never mind what it costs "back home", this is not home, as we are constantly reminded.
Myself I tell them what I will pay, never more than 1500 all night unless she is exceptional, oh yes, always pay the 50 Baht taxi fare as well. The comments about the superstars being lousy in bed are also true. Had too many of them myself.

I am all for the 1,500-2,000 range but when I was in BKK last week many girls told me that the club members call them so early in the day. The girl dresses, takes a cab cross town and does the work and at 2pm she has to hang around NEP just for the doors to open at 5. I think the best time to arrange a meeting with the girls is right around 5pm as they are getting ready to leave for work anyway, do your business and let her go off to work, then look for another for later that evening. One thing I noticed in KC3 on Friday was the lack of ST activity, I sat in there from 9pm until midnight which is what you would call prime time. In this time I saw only 2 girls go out for ST which to me says that guys aren't playing any more.

Please reward only those girls with good attitudes, who provide good service. Do not take the girls who have only the objection of getting paid. There is simply too much supply to justify any increase in prices.
