Probably because girls working massage parlors are 'regular' staff wouldn't make shit for money and I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that the population of LB lovers looking for a massage service might not be that high. Potential business owners probably think that anyone looking for LBs will just go to Nana or Patpong at night and have arranged something during the day. Who knows...

I would take it even one step further and have them REFUSE tips above the posted prices.  I don't like the uncertainity of wondering if they expect a tip.

If their rate was 1200 per LB and the customer knew that it really was going to be 1200 max they would be busy as hell.

Take the Eden Club for example.  On their website (it may not be operational anymore) Marc says 1600 per girl includes everything, no tip nescessary.  And yes, you can get away with no tip, but the girls will be diasapointed so you are really looking at 2100 per girl.  As a result I don't go there anymore.

1200 per LB for a full hour massage followed by a no clock watching session of say 90 minutes fora total of 2.5 hours with ALL tips refused, no taxi money accepted would quickly turn into a VERY lucrative business.  But once word gets out that they will accept tips guys will start thinking twice.

been to eden several times and have never had any oe ask to be given a tip??? i just pay the price and when im finnish i walk out.(tipping is not a thai custom)
As for the massage girls > they need to post pics and stats as spoken about. 2 girl massage is around bhat 700-1000. plus negotiate wiith them for the extras.
i hate paying up front as in the massage parlours in bangkok. once you pay ,the girl can fuck you around knowing she dont have to perform. (im not saying they all do this) but alot will.
