do any of you guys remember the Beverly Hills Club?  This was a little-known lounge just like the one described here; it was in a small soi off of soi 8 Suk, opened around January 2001 and closed 6 months later, it never really took off [no surprise there].

I think I went there once! Was it in the same period when Clinton Plaza was also open, right? But on the other side of Sukhumvit.

Yes..I remember now, it was a very short lived club, the following to BKK trip I went there, and it was closed already..SHIT..so long ago??

Tann worked there, she was one of the hottest; Andy below was always my style too, she looked great back then. Ozzie, if you see this here is a photo from the Ruamchitt pool area circa 2001.

Yeah, it's really a pity, but on the other hand if this forum doesn't show a representative sample of a lb's club customer base, then which does? So, if there's such a clear vote for a lounge club - I'd say there's a clear demand! Maybe times/tastes changed...?? Anyway, this poll would be a very valuable study for a future investor in such a venture!

Well, JD said it already.....but seriously I'd love to have a jazzy lounge club (great idea PD!) with lb hostesses only, who just come to your table if you wink them over. Nice cocktails, some first class snacks, etc. Cool 70ies retro design, girls in great dresses (Pussy Galore meets Beyonce) and maybe some performances on the weekend.
Something to chill out with friends and grab your girl whenever you're read. Something hip&classy&saucy would be really a hit in BKK!

I've got to second this. Sort of a seraglio atmosphere like Casanova, but with decent music and drinks, and quieter, more discrete. Get rid of the stage. And I'd let in femboys, girls, posties, whatever. Be eclectic.
