That's bollocks, man! What's wrong with adopting children in a gay or LB relationship? I don't say that's easy, but it never is. I know 3 gay couples and 2 exmples of LB's who actually did it. One (post-op) adopted 3 children and they live the normal family life as everybody else. The other (pre-op) is living already in a 12 year relationship with her bf before they adopted a little girl of 2 years age. That's now 3 years ago and they're still a great family. Generalizations doesn't mean anything, especially not on such a special subject like relationships with LB's.

I agree in general, but like everything in the world, there are exceptions. I can think of a few LBs posted on this site who I would definitely take the chance with as a girlfriend and trust them completely outside a bar. May and Pae are 2 I know very, very well, and in my opinion, they are solid people, and would not fuck you around in a girlfriend relationship. Just use your head like you'd do in a normal relationship and maybe take more time than you'd usually take to make a step, like 2-3 years (I know Pae 3 years). For a kid in care, I think the important thing is that they are loved and raised well by foster parents. Gay/LB are just as qualified to raise kids as anyone, in fact probably more so as they will have been vetted and interviewed before being allowed to adopt or foster. Much better than than some 20 year old Chavette who can't even remember the dads name and hasn't got the financial means or emotional maturity to raise a child.
