Gotta tell you some stuff - not at all pleasant, but here goes:
My ex-girlfriend Aieng kept bugging me to visit Koh Samui with her and I did, way back in 1994.
At that time (I do NOT know about today) the LBs there were bottom-of-the-barrel; white-trash druggies dominated the social scene; the beaches were not as clean as they should have been; and a dishonest bungalow owner ripped me off (I will not bore you with the details. Suffice it to say, I reported HIM to the proper authorities, English-language newspapers,  guidebook publishers, et. al, and the sonofabitch was out of business in less than one year afterwards).
Poetic justice?
Anyway, here is a call for CURRENT INFORMATION ON KOH SAMUI..........

well, i used to think that also, guys. but i have been reading some other message boards lately and the times seem to have changed there; from what I can read, there is a LOT of shit going on there now, and a lot of ladyboys. I first got the idea to go there when i talked with Tete, the dark-skinned hottie that we ran here last month. she was telling me that she spent the winters there and there were always a lot of ladyboys around. so I started thinking that It may be time to check the place out.

I have reason to go to Samui, hopefully in a couple of weeks. I quite enjoyed it when I was there last year, like a mini-Patong/Phuket....not as built up. I wasn't into the lb thing last time, but will keep my eyes open this time if the trip happens.

Chaweng was always quite nice. Last time I've been there was in 2001 and there were a lot of LB's hangin around Christies Cabaret and in the Green Mango disco. It's an easy location - because it's small - you can't miss them!

Hi Always go to samui when I go to thailand I love clubbing so I allways end up at the full moon.

Lamai Beach: The banana Boat has about 15 lady boys about 3 are worth a fuck...check out RAT bar I found 2 really cute LB's that looked about 16 (nice)

Jon,,have you ever been to Hatyai ? its on the southern border of maylasia and has a nice resort known as Sonkla beach.
I was there about ten years ago,,

I have been to Koh Samui several times and it does not seem to have a lot of LB action....as above mainly the Christies club in centre of Chaweng. HOwever if you arrive in town and make it known that you are looking for models who will pick up a good paycheck then your experience is likely to be different from the normal tourist like myself.....and you will no doubt meet every LB in the place.

There is also a great little town called Bo Phut....on the beach not far from Chaweng...with a boutique / Southern European feel...nice restaurants and bars.....operated by ex pat farang. I stayed at a place called I think The Lodge...1500 night....it was literally on the beach...and with the LB I had for the night it was a great experience...I think you will find them on the net with a search....
