Interesting that there is speculation about Nancy being a TS. While watching TV recently in Ireland I switched over to a chat show to see who was on. I was absolutely convinced I was looking at a TS mainly because her boobs were overflowing and her features seemed to me to suggest a TS.

To my surprise the guest turned out to be Nancy.

... speaking of wacky movies, does anyone remember this flick from '72, I had just gotten back from the Phil. so of course I had to see MeMe Lay which reminded me of some of the honeys I shacked up with when i was stationed there.. years ago you couldn't even find the movie title listed anywhere until now thanks to Google & U-tube, it's even on Amazon if you want the DVD..

... The Man from Deep River filmed in Thailand..  you can see from one scene the tuk-tuk drivers haven't changed much since then..

I thought the overwhelmingly best part was the end where they took a boat in BKK and ended up in Phuket several hours later without going via Singapore Straights. OK its a movie.... but a little respect for geography would be nice....

I saw the movie on my last trip to Pattaya with an LB I had met o Ladyboy Kisses. It amazed me that EVERYBODY there was laughing like crazy but me as I thought the movie was so-so.

That isn't amazing when you see what makes most Asians laugh. They fall about giggling over some really lame stuff.

Hangover would be right down their street. The sillier the better.

It is ridiculous but nothing illustrates better just how desperate the producers were for a sight gag to end the sorry saga.

I suppose they chose Phuket because it is a place people know. I can't remember them naming Phuket, I can only remember the hapless bridegroom winning over his Thai father-in-law in record time. One minute he wanted to kill him, the next they are buddies.

The farang must have coughed up a big heap of Sim Sod. (Do I have the right word for the dowry expected by the family?)

Interestingly both myself and a girl friend whom I took to see Hangover ll thought it was hilarious.
A few days later while in the supermarket she picked up DVD of Hangover, we watched it together for the very first time that evening, we were both of the firm opinion that the sequel was a better/funnier movie than the original
