The long and short of it is...If you can't have a successful relationship with a Western lady with whom you
share language and culture, you ain't gonna have a successful relationship with a pretty boy from Thailand...

Sad news for me, I guess....
Ok, how about....
If you can't have a successful relationship with a Western (pretty or otherwise) boy with whom you share language and culture, you ain't gonna have a successful relationship with a pretty boy from Thailand.
(perth_couple @ Nov. 09 2010,20:10) Oddly enough, this is pretty universal advice on 'having a relationship'
Ah, you got me there

Can we fit that on a T-shirt ?
Did you exchange a walk-on part in the war for a lead role in a cage
Hey guys, being a bit of the Mills & Boon type I always enjoy these types of threads. I may be a bit mentally deranged coz my experiences are all in relationships with Philippine girls. No really long term successes as yet, but a few that lasted a while and currently in a pretty stable and satisfying relationship. I am a believer, but as has been mentioned, it's not really gonna stand much chance unless you're living together, and finding a suitable girl is no easy task.
Anyway, part of my reason for joining the discussion was to mention that I've just started a website for guys like us... well, more specifically, the guys who are seeking relationships, but I think even the flightiest of butterflies may find it of interest.
I chose the term transoriented to describe us, which wasn't a hard decision considering the alternatives, freak, pervert, tranny-chaser, tranny-admirer, transfan and gynandromorphophiliac (the pathologic term) and so on.
You'll notice we've a contribution from a forum favorite, none other than thegame925
It's very new, so don't be too harsh. Would appreciate any feedback: www.TransOriented.com

Me too! There's no way I could have a relationship with a western woman. Just the sound of their voices makes me want to smack them.
All excellent points. A lasting and loving relationship between two people, regardless of sexual preference, begins from within. Preserve what attracted the two of you to each other....don't force change upon each other; don't try to make the other person into something they are not or you will lose what attracted you in the first place. Respect each other's individualism.
One if the biggest issues can be their dependency on you for a standard of living.
(I'm talking about nice girls, here!)
It's easy for your partner to feel unneeded and not useful. You may hear her asking or hinting about ways she can contribute to the relationship to make it more equitable.
I've found that relying on Olay for a lot of things balances the relationship.
She relies on me for A, B and C and I need her for X, Y and Z.
This is especially important where there is a bigger difference in age as an older partner can come across as domineering or dictatorial even unintentionally.
(young-asian @ Nov. 13 2010,12:09) Are you guys implying that transgendered girl can never love??
I wanna twist the question of this thread.
"PROPER RELATIONSHIP WITH A LADYBOY LOVER"
Twist it all you want but you've missed the point of the thread...
It ain't about love...It's about building a relationship with a Thai ladyboy...
Love is free...Requires nothing...It comes from within...It's either given or received or reciprocal...
A relationship requires responsibility...Places demands on the participants...Creates expectations...All things which can kill love...
In my opinion Thai ladyboys aren't capable of loving a falang in the western sense...But that has very little to do with building a long-term relationship with a Thai ladyboy...
