Do your HOMEWORK. Load your self up with MAP's.
Pretend you Know your way around. Memorize the names of the place's you want to visit. If you know the names of the streets when you Take a cab you won't seem like such an easy target.

If you've never been to Thialand, especially Nana Plaza. Dude if you really love Ladyboys your gonna Freak. The Ladyboy scene is enough to make you want to Leave it all behind you and start a New. Just don't waste the Ladyboy's time by talking shit to her, They'll get Pissed.

Thanks Mirimark ... I've been on this site daily since I joined a few days ago and am learning a hell of a lot. This forum is great ! ! !

I've loaded up on the standard books (Lonely Planey, etc...) to get a good feel for the place as well as a few maps. Also downloaded many things from the web and saved them to my yahoo for easy access when I'm there and putting a few in my little black book.

Same goes for the subway and skytrain and knowing where to go, etc... Homework is what i do best when travelling so that when I'm there (whereever there is) I have no worries. I'm no expert on Bkk but as long as I feel comfortable, I think I'll do alright. But then again ... a newbie is a newbie.

Based on the feedback, I really think I'm gonna freak at first and have to settle down BEFORE going into any of the bars. Not a good idea to walk into one with a noticable buldge in the crotch - like flies to honey right??

If I survive the first night ... I think that remaining week will be alright. Now am I dreaming or what?? Just hope I don't fall flat.

I'll definitely post when I'm there.......

      Thanks again everyone

At your hotel ask for a business card in Thai taht you can show the cabdriver. Even if the cabbie goes the long way, cab farers are so cheap it just doesn't matter. Insist that the meter is turned on.

If you're going some where in the daytime that's near the Skytrain then take it cause sitting in traffic is no fun. *I* think tuk tuks are a pisser! Also taking a ferry up the river is a fun way to travel.

No ladyboys, only girls at the Eden Club but is something to try once. Sessions are 1.5 hours and two girls are mandatory. They will do anything you want just about. You can piss on them, set up rape fantasies, u can cum in their mouth and they'll french kiss each other trading your cum or whatever floats your boat.

Limits include mandatory condoms for vaginal and anal and no scat (shit) play.

Thanks PD, too bad there aren't any LB's at Eden, will definitely be going there as well for some afternoon delight. But can I have two LB's as guests at the Majestic??

There are quite a few points I wanted to comment on... I'll do my best here...

Yes you are right. Someone previously mentioned this. Pay for a short time, and if yoy are cool and the room is nice and she's feeling lazy, then you may well get her for the whole night! On the other hand you may want her out of your room so you can hog the covers!

Cabs going the long way to your hotel?

OK - first off Cabs in Thailand want you out of their cab as soon as possible. If you have set a price to get you from A to B he will find the quickest way possible!

NB: All cabs in Bangkok have a working meter in them, and they are ALL set to the same rate.
Minimum charge is 35 baht and after a couple of Kilometers the fare rises in increments of 2 baht. The problem (for the drivers) is that if you are stuck in traffic the waiting fees are almost nothing! Cabbies dread getting stuck in traffic! No money in it!
You are not expected to tip but roundionng up the fare is usually pretty cool.Or if I have been stuck in traffic for a while then I'll add a 20 baht (50 cents) tip) or something similar.
Cabbies MAY (not usually!) try to rip you off. I get a cab usually 2 or 3 times a day and I would guess the guys have tried it on a couple of times in the last three years.

1 - If the meter is 'broken' GET OUT of the taxi!
2 - try to have exact (or close) change. They will NOT make change for a tourist usually!
3 - Even if you aregetting in a cab on a busy street open the door and quickly tell the cabby where you are going to. He'll nod yeah or neay!

Reasons they'll not go where you want to...

It's not far enough... It's too far... They have to get the cab back to the leaser before the witching hour!

99% of cab rides are trouble free and very safe. Wait for a nice new looking one before you flag one down. there are some old heaps of shite out there and they cost the same as the numerous brand new ones!

PigDogg suggested grabbing some business cards of the hotel. Great advice - better still, get a hotel where you can walk to the action!

I have to disagree with mirimark about maps! I have never ever seen a decent one and all maps confuse the crap out of me! But if maps are your bag do NOT carry one in public. Makes you an instant target.

            Indian Tailors...
If you are accosted by an Indian then DO NOT STOP! Keep walking! They are trying new ways to get you to stop and chat. Don't fall for any of them. If they look like they are Indian then they want to make you a badly fitted shirt and a suit for $300!

            DVDs...
It's a hit and miss affair. I live here and get all mine for 100 Baht. If they aren't up to scratch then I take them back and they are relaced or exchanged and no questions are asked.

If you have limited time here then these guidelines may help you...

ASK if it is "a MASTER or 90%!" If you ask this they will know that you know what you are talking about... They may still lie and say 'MASTER', but the chances of them doing so are less...
(90% means crap quality taken with Sony (un)steadycam!)
If the movie is a new release then the chances are that it's crap.

Yes you WILL! The hustle and bustle and constant pawing at your wallet can be very intimidating. It certainly was for me when I first came to thailand.

If you like, I'll meet you when you get here for a couple of beers...

Hey Stogie ... thanks for the tips. I'll be staying at the Majestic Suites so I know that all the action is right around the corner. As for a beer ... sounds good . I can contact you just prior/or after my arrival (what's the best way??).

              Cheers to all

                That's the best way!

The worst way to contact me is to come round my house while I am in bed with Kui and my dick is... well, you get the idea!

I've never stayed at the Majestic but my guess is that it's OK. Why not email them and ask? Then bring the printed email. if you're shy about asking that question do it from your goofing around account.

                        HI@all
think this newbie thread is very good since it answered many of my questions before heading open eyed towards the point of no return Like obake1 I'll be there for the 1st time, having risen my appetite through sites like ATS till it hurts ... somehow predefined fantasies ... who doesn't want wo meet Art or Talesha or all the other princesses of the wonderful third sex ? But I wonder if there are really about 100 beautyful LBs in and outside Nana, - is it worth looking for someone special, let's say Talesha ? Will the higher price you (I suppose she knows her price) pay because she's a Inet star be justified ? Or do they just want the same like the others not so well known ? Second point is the attitude, - what you write for example about Areeah sounds that she's arrogant ... is it worth to go for the stunners ? Ok, - what I'll do is to look for the mama and talk to her about my preferences and what I expect, also will try to meet some of U guys out there so that I don't have to enter Casanova on my own (trembling knees). I think following the rules you've posted I'll have a great time. So what about the stunners, just good for a fantasy or really worth a try ? (- like obake1 still fresh meat -)
Thx for the thread and following answers !

                        Al

Lots of good questions and they have all been answered quite recently in other threads on this forum!

                          Keep reading and taking notes.

Good luck and feel free to call me at the number listed earlier in this thread for one on one advice and support!

otwo-My two cents is to trust your instincts not mama's. don't buy drinks for girls if you don't want and don't barfine cause u feel u have to.

if the vibe feels right go for it!
