Hi everyone . . .

I'm a 24 yr old, good lookin young man planning a trip to Bankok (well Nana Plaza ). I need advice on how i will be treated by the LB's because of my age. Im planning on staying for a week, going alone and staying in a hotel near Nana Plaza such as the Dynasty Inn, for hopefully an experince of a lifetime. Any advice anyone on places to stay . . . my age being  prob . . . . things to watch out for. It will be my first time so i'm a bit nervous but also very excited . . .  Much apprec any feedback

Dont think your age will be a problem with the girls, infact they will love it! Try not to let on its your first time though or the prices will surly rise and the risk of them taking the piss certainly will
I think it would be sensible to read as many of the posts on here so you really know what to expect and what you should be getting for your £ $ or whatever...

Basically dont worry about offending people if the girl who drapes herself over you isnt your type.
dont be pressured into buying them all drinks, unless you want to!
Try and arrange prices/LT ST etc beforehand.
Keep your money safe.
Above all have fun.

Sex wise if your concerned, thats good, it might just keep your head clear enough after the shitload of beer your gonna be drinking and make sure you wear a condom.
When shes naked in front of you on the bed dont think it'll be ok this one time or you will be pleased to only come away with gonorrhea and/or chlamydia (speaking from experience )  having said that dont let it spoil the moment. Yes these girls are in the at-risk bracket but heck they see the doctor a damn sight more than the bitches in your hometown. Hope none of this hasnt put you off or anything! Knowledge is power....

You didnt say when you were going, maybe some of the other members could show you the ropes so to speak!

some wise words from supersteve, heed the words of advice you get from the great members of this exceptional site and you will have a great time.
 First off ,your age will only be a problem if you make it one, these girls will love a good looking young guy , as they are a lot more accustomed to dating older (less attractive guys,just being honest ,lol).

Last time I was in Bangkok only had a couple nights to get out ont he town. And yes that was my first time looking for LB's. I went to Casan. and Obs. At first it is a little intimidating with the rush of when you first come in there. But after I had been to the GG bars and getting ignored the attention in the LB bars was actually appreciated. I just told them politly that I was just looking and that got most of them to run away. May not work for everyone. But the one that I saw in Casan. that caught my eye was the legendary Talesha. Trust me you go with her she will treat you right.

hey guy.. you have gotten some great advice from a few of the vets of ATS.. let me give a little more advice .. never say it is your first time to thailand.. that goes with all the thai's.. including espcially the taxi drivers...

do not buy into being preasured to take a girl(LB) out of bar that you are not attracted to.. these girls over here will play you on the 'sympathy' thing if they think they can get away with it.. try to remember this trip is all about you and think of yoursef first and foremost.. sure be a nice guy , but do not worry about hurting a girls feelings about not taking her out of the bar.. take my word for it, they play this angle very good.. they are masters at trying to lay a 'guilt trip' on you..

also it is vacation and do not worry about spending money.. i was talking to a member from the site in pattaya last month and we agreed that when on vacation, time is not on your side and if you like a girl go get her.. .. guys that live over here it is different...time is our ally and we can actually wait them out and get some awesome deals..one 'play' i done for years on my trips to thailand is i never take a girl for the long time price.. i always go for the short time price and usually the girl enjoys your company and likes hanging out in your aircon hotel room.. so the short time price actually turns into a longtime affair.. if that happens, i also give a couple hundred extra baht in the morning for taxi fare... be sure to 'spell out' in advance what the price is going to be.. if you ask a girl and she gives you that 'up to you' line.. tell her a price and makes sure she agrees to it.. never take a girl to your room without agreeing to a price in advance..

you mention the dynasty hotel . a good hotel a few meters down from the entrance of NEP.. i like the nana, but the dynasty is fine too.. you will be meters away from ladyboy ground zero in thailand.. within the three ladyboy bars of NEP and all the free lancers in the area, you will have close to a couple of hundred of beautiful ladyyboys to choose from.. a word of caution.. if you choose a free lancer. becareful.. there are few rogues out there and recently there are group of young ladyboys that work that entrance of NEP.. a couple of these ladyboys are only 16 or 17 yrs of age... beware of the underaged trap...

Just to add a quick note about the underage LB's or GG's. If you are from the US they have set up laws to where if you get caught with anything underage. Even in a foreign country they will prosecute you when you come back plus whatever punishment you get abroad. Don't think it would be worth trying out this law.

I know Bangkok reasonably well (enough to bluff anyway).  Often, when I am asked, I say that I live and work in Bangkok or at least I say that I have been to Bangkok "many, many times".  

It does help.  it makes one seem less of a target for ripoffs.

Your right this works well very often with cab drivers and prostitutes, When I was travelling to Brazil almost every month (for business) very often I have to tell the taxi driver to way to get to my flat they charge me the rate used for the local peoples.
