Hello Tia - read your blog and I'm sorry what happened to you.

It's good see that you are back with your family and safe now.

My experience of the Middle East is a few short visits to Saudi Arabia and Abu Dhabi - nothing I saw in either country gave me any reason to want to go back.

Honestly,i would be worried if my future daughter (going to be a while) goes to the UEA.Even though there are a lot of great and respectable people down there the legal system just doesnt favor woman especially not the kind who offer certain ''entertainment'' services....

The funny thing is that a lot of the girls down there are there for that specific purpose (i know a few GG girls who work there)....guess that oil money is just to great....

Sorry to hear of your troubles in the UAE (and not the University of East Anglia - UEA). I've lived there on and off for more than 20 years so I know it can be a gilded prison in more ways that one.

I am pleased and relieved that Tia has re-surfaced and I hope that many of our €œSisters€ will read her blog and learn from it.

I have spent a number of years working in The Gulf States and working for people based in The Gulf States to whom I reported and I think I know and understand €œThe Scene€.

I think I have posted on the Topic of working in The Gulf States before €“ I have certainly given many LBs in the UK, Europe, Australasia and the USA a lot of advice on the subject.

Dubai can be a very profitable area, but very dangerous too.

There are four types of working girls there - at the lowest end are the girls (GGs) shipped in from China, India, and the poorest parts of the world to serve the hundreds of thousands of construction workers. They are true "sex slaves" and live and work in the most terrible conditions.

Next are girls (GGs) from the same areas (but prettier and younger) shipped in by gangs and occasionally a few independents who work in a few bars (TGI Fridays is a good example) and hotels and they service lower management and the package tourists.

The third levels are girls (GGs and LBs) from Europe, UK, US, Malaysia etc who "tour".
Usually these are girls traveling in pairs (for protection).

These girls (and I include pre-op and post op TS€™s here) have enough money to dress well, who speak (at least) English, and who look for clients in the best discos, best hotel bars, best shopping malls, occasionally round the hotel pools, and in certain up-market bars.

Included in this group girls who get jobs in hotels (i.e. Reception areas), in Real Estate Offices, in beauty parlors, as tour guides, and who do their "escort" work quietly on the side.

A Provider (an Escort) can read these sites from outside the country and if someone is looking for something specific (i.e. in the last month there are advertisers seeking TS), then the escort can reply from outside the country but I advised that they should ask for a return air-ticket (business class) Fedexed to where the escort is located plus $500 traveling expenses and $3,000 per day with a five day minimum.

If, once the escort gets it, she must take the money in total on arrival and mail it abroad. Otherwise she runs the risk of 5 days activity and no payment or 5 days activity and the money taken back at the end.

The fourth area is girls introduced to wealthy Arabs in other countries and brought into Arab countries by Arabs as girl-friends, and who, eventually, are sometimes then passed around.


This usually is limited to top-end can be a fantastic money-maker but it is a very risky road to ruin.

Also the girl (GGs and LBs needs to be truly educated (or extremely €œStreet Smart€), sophisticated, beautiful (and the genetic girls have to be blond Caucasian to earn huge money).

Pre-ops TS's have something else going for them so ethnicity is not important.

That said, there is a prejudice against Blacks in Arab countries, and it is particularly risky to be a black escort in that part of the world.

So, let us concentrate on the third area.

There are risks especially for TS Girls.

I personally am friendly with a pre-op LB who worked in a very up-market perfume store in a big Shopping Mall as the Manager but at night €worked as an Escort" for circa US$2,000 - $3,000 per customer per night (no short time).

An Arab guy fell for her, became madly possessive and when she wouldn't only see him, he had her arrested on a charge of solicitation for the purpose of prostitution

She was sent to a male jail, but put in isolation to "protect" her.
However, she was gang-raped by the guards for a week until a friend got a lawyer to get her out.

She was thrown out of the country, reported to the authorities in her own country, could not get her funds out of her bank account (immoral earnings) and was severely traumatized.

This is not an isolated occurrence, I know two girls who told me that they had similar experiences.

Also many Arabs (and this is somewhat of a generality but very usual) are more into S&M (giving) than in the West. Thus the girl is taking big risks as, if the client inflicts too much pain or injury there is no where she can go.

The worst story I heard was from a girl (GG) in London, but originally from Singapore, who went to Dubai in 2006 with a Singaporean Pre-Op LB friend.

The LB was befriended on their first night by a wealthy Arab and went to his house. She phoned her GG friend daily for three weeks then the GG friend returned to the UK. The LB said she was staying.

After two months the GG had not heard from her friend and went back out to Dubai.
She went to the house her LB friend had gone to and saw the guy.
He told her that her LB friend had left four weeks previously.

From inquiries she made she believes that the man tired of her LB friend and gave her to his staff €“ they took her away and she was gang-raped and (perhaps accidentally) killed. It is assumed her body was buried in the desert.

The GG went to the Police and was told they would investigate. Two days later the Police came and told her unless she left the country she would be arrested and charged with prostitution and jailed.

She left the country €“ She could felt she could not go to the British Authorities but she says she did give the full story to the Singaporean Authorities.

She said nothing was done and she tells the story to warn others of the dangers.

I do not know whether the story is true or not €“ but I do advise that €œWorking girls€ should travel in pairs and keep their wits about them.

I also advise only to go to UAE Countries (Dubai & Qatar being the best) and both GGs and LBs should avoid other areas like Kuwait or Saudi Arabia.

The money can be unbelievable, but the dangers are extremely great.

1. For TGI Friday read TGI Thursday - TGIT is the Star Wars type bar where you will find these girls and NOT TGIF which is alcohol free and more family oriented.

2. There are no "UAE countries - the UAE is a country in itself, of which Dubai is one of seven emirates. Qatar is not part of the UAE and is a separate country.

I read your blog and am glad you are ok but why go to these repressive countries(money?) I have many friends from Turkey and Morocco and still probably won't visit as I would feel to out of my element to have a good time, this is sad because I've befriended many people from these countries especially Morocco (some of my best friends) and still have no desire to go their as they might not be my friends if they knew my predilection for LBs. Sorry Grinder - Blame my errors on tiredness or sloppiness - you are 100% correct - TGI Thursdays is indeed the name of the "Star Wars" Bar - and for anyone in search of that type of entertainment, it is (usually) open from noon and is in The Astoria Hotel in Bur Dubai - Not a place to take a wife, girlfriend or children.

Caveat: You might need medical attention if you go with any of the "talent" there, but they are a multi-ethnic collection of GGs (no LBs).
