If you deliberately set out to lose control of your faculties by getting drunk, when something bad happens as a result of your stupidity, you can't really expect much sympathy.

Shouldn't we all be tucked up in bed with someone warm by 5 in the morning?

I wonder if the authorities will order a pathology test on the Italian to see what he had consumed?

If the presence of methamphetamines can be proved, that would be the LB's best case scenario for a good outcome in her trial.

It still doesn't look good for her though. And the police will probably be swabbing her for drugs as well.

A few on here will know my story about having a Heineken bottle smashed over my head by a loony LB near Nana. I won't go over the long story again but it's sobering (pardon the pun) to think the deceased was dead just a few hours after a similar incident.

I remember it hurt like f**k (not at all like it happens in the movies) and I was picking out green shards from my head for days afterwards. Just goes to show that an inch or two either way could mean the difference between telling folks about it on the Ladyboy Forum or telling no sod about it and having your name tied to your big toe...

There's a saying nothing good ever happens after midnight outdoors. Granted that's a very conservative statement, it does mean try not to look for trouble late at night because things can tend to spiral out of control very fast.

Grinder this isn't about you.. its about the dude who was punching people late at night.. uhh wrong move. The thing is, if he did that in any corner of the United States, I'd bet he'd have the same outcome although probably not by a ladyboy.

Now i've seen the pic of this bloke i recognise him. He's usually off his head, doesn't frequent the bars, and is one to avoid.

The local gossip is that "Tan" approached him in soi Paradise and went to his room with him. When he discovered she was a ladyboy, he cut up rough, and the girl made a run for it. He pursued her into the street hitting out at her constantly. He appeared to be in some sort of rage, maybe induced by a "substance". She grabbed a bottle and went onto the attack. After smashing the bottle over his head he hid under a car, but she went in after him, slashing his throat. He bled to death outside Tom's 'The Place to Stay'. I imagine the security guy on the front gate has seen this sort of incident a dozen times and knows it's safer to stay out of the way.

Both were in the wrong, IMO. The girl should have known better than approach this erratic character in the early hours. He was wrong to get upset and "surprised" at her being a ladyboy in the well known gay area of soi Paradise, and to start hitting out is asking for BIG trouble.

However, surely it didn't have to end in such a tragic way?

Just about the only fact we know about this story is that it was printed in the local newspapers. These are the same newspapers that make up stories on a daily basis and distort the truth whenever it suits them or the government. The local police are not exactly renowned for their integrity, either.

There were no reliable eyewitness accounts of what happened published with the article and I doubt the police can be bothered to find out the truth. That hasn't stopped people from making judgement on the incident.

Lawyers in Thailand dealing with this- how much time have you spent here? He's falang, he's dead, if he wasn't here he wouldn't be dead. Case closed yer honour- just another suicide by LB
