Geisha! NEW LB bar on Soi 3...

I dropped by Geisha bar in soi 3 last night and had an enjoyable few hours. I'm a bit surprised by some of the negative comments. But it is a new bar, just 2 days old, and I'm sure there will be any number of changes and alterations over the next few weeks.

It is in a bar complex little different to Drinking Street, Simon or any of the other numerous places the more intrepid LB hunter seeks it's prey, so no air-con and a different feel from the salon ambience of La Bamba. But that hasn't stopped me visiting soi 7 & 8 either

Last night the staff was minus Chin, but plus May (former Blue Room), two unknowns (I was too busy to ask their names) and Pooky I wasn't even looking to barfine anyone but found myself making a hard choice

For sure the location is not ideal for sofa shenanigans, but it's quiet enough for a bit of panty exploration. Admittedly the music sucks, but that's par for the course except for Ezy with Karl at the helm, and at least the volume level means it is possible to talk. I'm quite sure there are ST rooms close by, this is Pattaya FFS Some may find the location a pain, 5 minutes away from soi 6, others will welcome the chance to get a little off the beaten track.

Only time will tell if the bar is viable in it's present location, but in the mean time it is worth dropping by just to say hi and see who of Alis' numerous LB friends is hanging around.

Perhaps not all thai boyfriends are total scumbags? Alis at least trusts her BF to handle the cash and it's not like they only met yesterday.

Congratulations to Alis for at least 'coming out' and being honest about it instead of giving the standard 'thai man no good, no hab boyfren' bollocks. Or is that what you prefer to hear?

I had a chat with Alis's bf the night I was there and he came across as a very polite, humble guy, from Suratani.  He told me it is quite unacceptable to have a ladyboy gf where he comes from and that he felt so lucky to have Alis as his gf.  Then it just dawned on me that basically I was talking to a Thai version of ourselves. Good luck to them both I say.

Glad to hear there are fans of Geisha (and the boyfriend). I think most of us were already aware of her thai boyfriend anyway, so not a big deal (unless he's selecting the music!)  

Good luck to Alis, out on her own (presumably without any farang benefactor/owner this time).  Visitors like May and Pookie will start getting the punters in (me probably   )

Fair point as far as the boyfriend goes, i have never met him and he may well be a nice chap who really cares about Alis and has her best interests at heart. However, even if this is the case my gut feeling is this venture will sadly struggle to survive. I hope i am wrong but time will tell i suppose.

Fair play to Alis for being up front with regards to her other half but after 50+ trips to LOS going back fifteen years you tend to have 'heard it all ' so to speak and tend to become rather hardened and cynical to whatever thais tell you and pay very little attention . Maybe i am just gettin old

If all Thai men were total scumbags, why would most of them have Thai boyfriends or husbands, or be seeking them? Park yourself down on Soi Chayapoom about 2am or 3am when the girls get off work, your eyes will be open to a whole different view of BGs (GG and LB) and Thai men.    Then again, it might be easier and more pleasant to stop seeking the truth and just put on your best Thai smile when someone tells you something. Just concentrate on fun and leave anything serious or real for when you get back to farangland.

  EyeMahk brought me to one of the clubs where Thai girls go and pay to have sex with Thai men.

Actually EM has brought me to quite a few places that are off the beaten track where Thais hang out.  

My buddy from NY really liked the place down the dirt road off Pattaya Tai that looked like the roadhouse from Animal House from the outside.

Btw, Geisha is right near the "Belgian Embassy",  a Pattaya daytime gg shortime institution.

Yeah good luck to her. We'll definitely go there for beers when down that way and we like that part of town.

Have to agree though about the possible negatives around having her partner work there.

Not for any other reason than her personality and sex appeal has got to be part and parcel of the bars allure.

Having a partner work there must make it difficult for her to make the most of the honestly attractive traits she has...

With regard to the boyfriend. How anyone can judge a person without talking to or meeting him is beyond me. It is just generalising. Same same for example you have your English soccer hooligan, your aussie yobbo your loudmouth american etc etc , doesn't mean they are all like that.

I've met the BF and he comes across as a very polite, genuine and sincere guy. I would put my left nut on him not stonewalling Alis. I may be wrong and "left nutless" but I don't think so.

In the near future if the Bar increases it's staff to about 10 or more the LB followers WILL come . As for location it's only a couple of minutes walk from Soi 6 and that Soi doesn't seem too far away for most , if not all mongers.

I say good luck to Alis for having a go and wish her well.
