One positive aspect I can glean from his legacy is that, through 131 and La Bamba many great friendships have emerged in the '' life after franck''

   That is absolutely true.
If not for Franck, I would never have met the cast of characters who grace this forum & have added so much to my life.

My latest visit to LOS, as a contributor to the board, was on a different scale to any previous trip.
Constantly being introduced to new people with familiar names - I had to learn to duck quickly.

And even Sam bought me a beer, just one mind you, but hey, how many other people can say that?

Buren - that was a secret! Now Pacman will want free drinks/BF's and even get paid to be with a LB.
Only a "one off" to THANK you for some great photos - if you say any more Sam will invoice me!!!
Hope you are Ok and finding much new talent - is there a Job Agency for LB's - nice idea! Resume, interview, practical skills and upon successful completion - employment.
See you at the party on 14th March at La Bamba - the new sign may even be erected by then - every decent LB loving Irishman should attend.Comment

Steady on Rossco, I posted on this forum that I was buying bb a beer or two on me.
Sam will have a bin waiting for my return.

Burenboy, I hope the girls provided every possible hospitality. La Bamba owes you a big thanks.

Now Rossco, explain to me this idea of free drinks, BFs & being paid to take the staff.
In my opinion it has a lot of merit . . .

A lot of these LB site founders have irish roots too!
I notice the owner of LBLB logs in as Seanchai. Seanchai is an Irish word for a kind of storyteller (usually an old fella that likes his whiskey and growing a beard). Another member of the Paddy club?
