I have seen those buffets in Vegas , about 2 miles long, start at one end as thin as Beam, finish 3 hours later at the other end looking like Fat Bastard from Austin Powers.        

You shouldn't be so generous with the promotion budget of La Bamba.

And it was only one beer I got out of Sam at the Opening Party, still better than nothing I guess.

i am forced to assume that you are of the group which considers sarcasm a valid form of irony, as there has been no inkling of true literary or dramtic irony anywhere in this thread.
that being the case, is your comment itself "irony"? or do you truly believe americans to lack the sarcasm gene? i find that humorous as even our greatest serving president ever manages to be ironic on a daily basis. and he doesn't even try.

the only irony worth mentioning here is that my post begging this thread to return to topic has hereby resulted in my participating in its further demise.
