A pre-party party eh? . . . . a bad idea?
. . . mate this is the La Bamba Bar . . . where too much party is never enough.
Unfortunately Sam I will be unable to attend.
I will need several days purifying myself at the temple, annointing myself with precious oils
in order I may be presented to the Princess, Naang Faa.
I am hoping others will be going to the same level of trouble.
I wouldn't expect Rossco to but . . . you know Rossco.
Speaking of the Princess, I just stumbled over her having a little private chat
with Statuesque in the Powder Room about love of all things.
I had to bolt out of there, good lord, what next will they allow on this forum?
They will be trying to insist that La Bamba isn't for tough guys.
Now Sam, this maids outfit, I can see if it fits, do you have one with pink ribbons or are they all just black?
Despite the high cost of living, it continues to be popular.
Was there early evening last night and not too impressed w/ the talent although to be fair, it was before the whole staff arrived. The two I bought drinks for chugged it down faster than their Mexican counterparts back home. Anyone know if/when Pinky drops by?
When I was there two nights ago (saw a "legend" at the bar with a hottie), the two girls that came uninvited to sit with me didn't ask for a drink at all. Bought one a drink after about 10 mins because I would have called her over anyway.
Some of the staff is salaried and some free-lance (come and go as they please). Barfine was 300 baht, from what I remember.
The only thing strange is there is no sign saying "La Bomba". The only way I found it was to find the darkened "Club 131" and look across the Soi for a bar with ladyboys. This may be because they are not "officially" open.
