Yes manarak, but if it means she gets more business you mean she's going to be angry? On the other hand if she short changed the photographer has she a right to get angry? I think not and in fact it would be a good deed to us other BMs who may want to patronise her.
I say this because I've taken pictures of ladyboys for my blog and nobody's complained; they were in fact quite happy.    (Well, except for one who said her parents might see the picture! Believe that if you will).
Therefore my point remains - if the forum bothers about every whim the ladyboys have, where does it go from here?

But hang on - I've got a question for the expat board members here - would you think differently if this scenario was played out in your own home country?
Please, I'm not asking if anybody's chicken or anything, I'm asking this question because I'm normally on home turf and the ladyboys are the visitors. On reflection, I do appreciate most of you are not on home turf and feel less comfortable than you were back home.

I think you miss the point - the girls don't become angry just because their pic is posted on the internet.
They become angry when they don't want their pic posted at that moment (for whatever reasons) and someone posts it anyway.

So they want the pic taken down for whatever reasons - sponsors are one reason, but I've also met a girl why just wanted to work in the bar to finance her further studies and degree and didn't want her "side job" to be known.
Understandable situation if you ask me.

And about them becoming angry in the first place - well, do they have any other means at their disposal to get rid of the pix?
I mean, like asking gently "please remove my pics or my 3 sponsors might see them"?
Some assholes would exploit that and ask them for free sex no doubts.


And about the home turf...
Have you ever seen "photo reports" of visits at a prostitute in your home country?
How many prostitutes in your home country might have a sponsor?

Thailand is just not comparable to a western home country.
That's why we visit Thailand.

Sorry to hear about Ernesto's experience. That's weak that someone "outed" him. I sure hope that the VIP thing doesn't happen. That would be the first nail in the coffin for this site. I've been to Thailand twice, and posted TRs each time, but just don't have the time to login and comment frequently between my trips like some of the others on the Board seem to. (At least not enough to get "senior" status.) The bottom line is that this site would not be nearly as successful if access were restricted to "VIPs". Even if pictures were password protected, couldn't a mole of some sort still out someone? My $.02 cents.

Manarak, yes I think see where you're coming from.
I would understand the going for education bit but I'm half inclned to go with the rest.
I think on top of it, what complicates matters is that they can so erratic - one minute they want their pic taken and the next they don't.

About the home turf, yes if you look at sammyboyforum.com and under the Desker/Rowell thread you'll find many trip reports and of late a lot of pictures.
But out here in Singapore 80% of the ladyboys are not local. They're either Thai, Malaysian or Filipino so it's not the same scenario.
Of the local ladyboys, quite a number do have boyfriends but most of the boyfriends actually like them doing their job because they get to scrounge off them! As for the rest, they're mainly doing European runs. (Dubai seems to be out of the question for the moment)
