Sorry for my silly question, but how is it possible to get vip member status?

It's not a silly question...

Members who have been around a while OR who have posted a lot OR who have paid me(!) can get in. At the moment there are about 50 or so, but we'll be pruning that number down and losing the ones who don't post or log on any more.

Details on how to get access to this area will be released soon enough.

Quick question. If all the trip reports are to be moved to the VIP area, how will members get to read or edit their own trip report that has already been written?

I've got some info in my TR that might be useful (to me or someone else) for my next trip. Should I make a copy of it before it is moved? Will I have advance warning? Has that issue been considered? Just a thought...

This is a great forum and I will continue to enjoy it.

ezflip, it is exactly these considerations that are being reviewed and then, as per Bumpa Stikka, the latest guidelines will be published
