If you move a lot of the content into a VIP area which most of us cannot access, many people are likely to stop visiting this website. Something to consider.

I have for the most part been a lurker on this board. The biggest reason being that I have never been to the LOS and having not met any of the girls or been to any of the places before, I thought it was absurd to constantly be saying "Wow she's hot", or some slack jawed equivalent. I am now a few weeks away, 55 days to be exact, from my first trip. I was planning on writing a trip report after getting some advice from others here on who to see and where to meet them.
If this policy had been in place, I would never have even seen a trip report, known they exist, or thought of contributing. The administrators and moderators of the forum would know better than I do, but I expect that a very large percentage of the traffic here goes through the trip reports. If they are not there I am guessing it will reduce the number of people on the forum and over time reduce the number of VIP members. My hunch is an exclusive club will just get smaller over time.
I read Ernesto's thread which probably started this proposed policy. I usually assume most people are stupid therefore I am rarely disappointed when their actions prove that they are. I will say anybody who thinks that showing a girl naked pictures of herself on the web will impress her is an idiot. And the reality is that probably a few of the VIPs will live down to my expectations and still engage in some stupid activities related to this fourm, even after you install this policy. Although I am sure this would occur less than they do now. There will always be some idiots out there and this won't change that.
Instead of limiting access why don't the moderators on a semi regular basis interject into threads reminding people to be smart about there actions. Bring a little wit to the statements. Sometimes, however, beating people over the head every once in awhile does make them think twice before they act. There is my .63 baht.

Patience information will be posted about VIP membership. As for restricted access, it seems there are more guys willing to "spill the beans" than in the past despite a number of posters asking them not to.
Doubtful that mods reminding guys not do do this would have any more effect.

(StreetDog @ Nov. 27 2009,11:30) I agree that if this all moves to the VIP section, I am out.
It would be a shame but I would find another vehicle to read, write and respond to. I hope it doesn't come to that.
Cant we all just get along here?
As for my threads Master of Planet Bator visits Earth and Chuck Wow's diary - if merged into one -may remain in the open section.
There is nothing in there that the VIP's don't know and it is was intentionally written to serve as a guide to newbies -how to cross over to the darkside or how to find a balance between the two worlds.

This issue was precipitated by Ernesto and rightly so.
There is no mileage/benefit in showing a LB photos taken by someone else. These guys are going to make LBs more wary of having their photo taken which is bad for all of the Forum members.
A number of LBs now seem 'shy' about their picture on the internet. I think it has only been in the last year or so that many have realised how 'public' these Forums are and how easily accessible they are.
However, we should not be naive - many LBs know about this, and another major web site, and access the URL to see what is happening.
They are naturally curious and most are so vain they love the camera and publicity.
If they were required to Log in (having registered) that may create another obstacle for them and provide another level of security.
Accessing the URL and reading the text is fine but I strongly believe that, to view photos, should require the user to register and log in. This also shows a social responsibility towards minors.
BUT if it required registration/log in to casually view photos that would be better
I have taken my Laptop into Sally's bar, So What bar, Family bar, La Bamba to show the Volley Ball players their photos - many LBs asked for copies. I know of other BMs who did the same - showed them the Volley Ball/Party pics.
My point here is that there is nothing out of order in showing them limited threads that may be of interest to them.
I was surprised how many LBs knew of the Forums.
It is probably only in the last 2 to 3 years that so much info/photos has been posted on the Forums about LBs. There are more voyeur photographers around now than ever before. The bars, who used to 'ban' photos have eased up as well.
Saying all that there are quite a few LBs who deliberately avoid getting in a photo and there are quite a few who get a bit angry/defensive when asked to be photographed.
So, in part, it is the success of the major Forums that have contributed to the problem - the Forums are better known.
It is disappointing that there are so many people out there asking for photos, allegedly for personal use, who then post them. That happens quite often.
It may also be worth considering 'hiding' the more sensational photos - this way the superb reports by Juri/Ernesto and so many others could continue in the main Forum with the more explicit photos held in the VIP section
Just a few thoughts.

I tried that on LBP where I had the MB thread in two different sections.
But as I did not take saucy pictures myself I asked BM's to feel free to post theirs.
This is also the way we plan to do on the nangfah forum.
But rest assured it will be only pictures that were taken at Nang Fah.
Do not intend to start up a wide-spectrum forum myself -enough work already as it is!Lost in Space!

Rightly said Rossco. The forum is becoming a victim of it's own success. The few LB's that I know, do know what this forum is about and what is going on here and are happy with it.
Think about this for a sec. How many men look at GG porn site and dream of being with their fantasy porn stars? How many members on this forum have seen their favorite LB on a web site and said 'I remember that night...'? We are a lucky bunch.
Back to the topic at hand - I truly hope this forum does not go the way of becoming a "pay" site like asiants.com, which I have gladly payed for. At least with a pay site you know what you are getting for your money.
This, to me, making the forum a pay site is a slippery slope. To many things to consider.
Make it a one time donation site if you want. This would help with the cost of running the forum.
My suggestion would be - to not allow photos of LB's to be posted in the trip report section. Make the TR section text only, or with photos of everyday events that would not create the problems that sparked all of this. This way, people will still have their fill of what is going on and they may get some useful info as well.
Granted, some posters don't like to write long winded reports. (guilty of that myself ) Some would rather post a report with photos because it's easier to do both in one shot. Pacmans latest report comes to mind. It's an example of a good report because of the info and beautiful photos and I have learned a few things from it.
Putting all the LB photos in a separate VIP area would fix the original dilemma. Unless the ones that created the problems in the first place gains access to it, then the whole dilemma starts again. Slippery slope indeed."Even ladyboys are size queens" - Anonymous

By implementing the need to register, and to subsequently Log In, does not necessarily means this becomes a Pay Site.
Look at the other Forum - if you go to the site (URL) but do NOT initially Register with a user name and password you cannot LogIn. You can only see all the photos when you Log In.
So this Forum could become more secure with some Techie admin - nothing more.
Trip reports are the heart of any Forum and by isolating them into VIP just limits the number of BMs who may view.
Just because a BM does not Post does not mean he is inactive - he reads and learns a great deal but may never actually post.
By enforcing Registration a BM will need to log in to see all content.

By a pay site, I was referring to Bumpa's possible solution on the other thread.

I agree with you that it would be far better to have a more elaborate login process, that would restrict what can be shown and what could not. This could be another alternative to what is in place already.
I'm just voicing my opinion. Making suggestions. Contributing to this forum which I've come to enjoy.

My 0.5 Baht worth of opinion says that if the trip reports are moved to an exclusive area it would lose a fair bit of appeal.
If we say that the ultimate goal in reading this forum and others like it is to get a good lay then surely the trip reports are a cornerstone of it.
Yes, the other information is useful but there's nothing like an actual experience retold. (even if it's exaggerated! )
On top of that a picture speaks a thousand words. Straight off we know whether the lb is our type. You don't have to mess about with descriptions of how big the boobs, prick, butt etc were.
So if trip reports are public pictures are a must.
I also contend that ladyboys in the P4P profession are like politicians - they're public property. People take pictures of them all the time. (Or at least would like to)
So I still fail to see the fuss over their pictures been shown on the net.
If the forum takes out pictures of ladyboys on the basis that their boyfriends/sponsor would see them, isn't the forum guilty of supporting their lies?
In my opinion, most ladyboys in South East Asia have incomes three to four times what they would have got in "normal" jobs. They have to realise that in this day and age of instant communication where the internet can work for them it comes with a price - not cheating.
