i have been in just a couple but its an interesting trip if you get the chance.

the photos of them when they were less sculpted, their family, the posters on the wall, etc.

Yes, I have been in several. I love to see how they live, how hygenic they are, how organised. They almost all have a space set up for their buddahs. Always amazed at the things they buy and leave for their buddah, it always seemed like a waste to me, but thats how they were brought up.

Whenever someone posts some LB's photo at their place, I'm always checking the background. I usually end up judging them based ontheir place to how well they are doing.

I have been in some pretty nice places and I have been in some total holes, with loose tiles, roach infested, and shady charachters hanging out in the hallway with a broken elevator that hasn't worked in years.

Nina/Nam/Nama of Cascades had the nicest apartment I've seen. She was so eager for me to stay over there after spending my first night with her at my apartment. She said hers was nicer and it was. Cleaner too!

I stayed the night at Leo's with her family. Wasn't any thing but clean & tidy. Her room was a mix of a 15 year old European girl & a 20 something with all the fake (& real) designer gear !
I have to say I was surprised how clean it was, could have eaten off the floor. But then again Leo is not an Issan girl.

These apartemnts were quite the dive where this freelancer lived. She had some nice stuff. Most of it she said Japanese man buy for her, but they don't have sex? An old aircondioning unit took up most of the balcony so only one person could stand outside. Used mostly to wash clothes. The shower which was size of closet made it hard to shower together if you wanted too. A sink in shower had no pipes to a drain, it simply fell out to the floor. All the trim around the toilet/shower sink was rusting out.

I took her to Ayutthaya Temples the next day and we came back she had a lock on her door, as she hadn't paid rent. So we stayed in a cheap hotel around the corner for 500 baht then the next day I paid her rent which around 2500 baht a month.

I met this one that actually had a room underneath some stairs of this old wooden structure house. She actually had a door on it that locked. It was like a small kids fort underneath a suburbian basement stairwell. You end up tipping them out of sympathy instead of performance. I recall thinking what am I doing here and how do I get out of this maize of shaks after.
