I agree with you, but there are certainly overtones of resentment and vendacity toward the working girls at times.

It is a voluntary transaction after all, just some customers are trying to buy something they ain't selling. Those girls though still have hearts and minds, much like us, and I don't think anyone is completely unaffected emotionally via a sexual encounter, so a little tenderness or compassion is not out of order.

I'm just curious of how others see this, because it often rubs me the wrong way to be honest. Not that I expect discussions about engaging in prostitution to be all lovey dovey.

I am probably one of the regulars you describe here, LB-Luva, and would certainly plead guilty to making my share of disparaging remarks over the years. It's far from a hatred of LB's though, I have met hundreds of 'em and about 99% are super-nice people with a heart of gold whom  I have genuinely liked.

    It's the 1% who give the others a bad name, I guess;  when you've been deep into this game for a decade now you'd be amazed how many games, lies, drugs, stealing, and otherwise-weird behaviors you are exposed to in that amount of time.  After a while you get jaded and say "oh, not THAT again'' when you hear about someone getting robbed, falling in love and then getting burned, police problems, or just overall strange activities coming out of the LB community.

     You may get the same way over time, who knows.  But despite some rude or occassional derogatory statements from myself and other long-timers now and again, we like ladyboys in general or we wouldn't even bother reading here!  Remember also; in this game there are 2 sides, and what they say about us when we are not around is not always the most flattering stuff either.

Yes, I've noticed some of your posts reflect an apparent jaded cynicism or tough pragmatic line that can seem a bit course at times.

I appreciate your feedback and your experience and can see where you are coming from. It is said that straight men often have a shade of mysogeny in them, so perhaps it is a trait that grows out of unrequainted affections of all kinds.

I've only done p4p once. My other experiences are relationships with non-working lbs (though that line can be thin at times), so I guess my perception is a bit skewed by that. What the future holds I can't be sure, but I don't think the p4p scene is the way to go for me. Seems a tough life to me, despite the obvious thrills. I wouldn't be surprised if such a lifestyle, over time, would harden my heart and make me feel similarly on occassion.

It's rough on both sides, actually, and I have years of letters from broken-hearted gentleman to back that up, as well as tons of posts read on here; over time you learn that while it's fun and games for the most part many western guys get hurt or lose tons of money and it's a shame to see, and the girls just move on and find other men, while the guys are crushed.  some of my posts over the years have been to get guys who may  potentially get scammed by someone to be careful out there, to think with their head and not their dick and realize it's all a game and also not to put anyone on a pedestal.
