Well Liisa & Statuesque have reinforced my earlier point about the difficulties of communication with most of the Thai girls compared to the filipinas.... it's not at all a measure of their intelligence just the Great Wall of tonal languages.
I really love Thailand but I'm considering that a ltr, not just hanging with the bargirls, may be easier done in the RP, but I do take foxee at his word & I know of some of the duplicity among filipinos is actually a common behavior in many cultures that have a history of colonization. Act one way towards the master & another towards the maids.
It's funny cause even with the wide knowledge of english there are still countless misinterpretations & mind boggling syntaxes that I have to decipher from some of the pinays.
It's not a zero/sum game either, as the song goes.....
"After you've been eating steak a long time, beans taste just fine....."
(abba @ Mar. 14 2009,06:50) (Statuesque, where have you been all my life?)
She wasn't even born for the most of it

Naang Faa has been boning up on " the classics".
And she chose to elaborate on my contribution to the world of literature.
I am honoured. Christmas has come early this year for me.
"I don´t know what to do. Losing sleep. Kicked from a chatroom on a board about worshipping young transsexual prostitutes.
I´ve my fair share of disapointments and hardtimes in my life, but this....."
i am PI ladyboy, and i haven't met any thai LB, though i will have something to say about for myself and for the rest of the PI ladyboys.
considerations/factors:
1.philippine society is not liberated enough towards LGBT (INCLUDING LADYBOYS) issues.
2.LB sex industry is not really somthing that we have here.
3.we have different influences when it comes to food ( american, european, japanese, chinese)
PI LADYBOYS:
1.very smart, speak english well, pros( u can be able to have sensible conversation, from the most silly subjects to the most serious ones.) cons(they say what they want to say, if there are some arguments they are able to argue and speak for themselves, which many guys dont like)
2. sweet and loving
3. clean, and almost 90% of them are AIDS/STD free
4.flexible ( they are capable to fit in different culture )
Thai lb's --- i have nothign to say... i guess all i know about them is they are not that goon in english, and probably, this is according to men i met ok, many of them are not free of std/aids. no offense.

Really? How many exactly? (I notice you gave a precise figure for the Pi)
I've decided that 98.3% of Irish transexuals are STD free - so we win!
fyi .. I'm sure your comment does cause offense (to Thai LBs and others). This is invariable the case when somebody claims not to mean to offend and then says something controversial. I think you knew this too - hence the disclaimer. No offense
I guess she assume that because most of the thai lb's are in p4p scene it means that they are std/hiv positive already. that is very offensive and the worst stereotype to people working in the p4p industry tsk tsk.
You Can Take Taneisha Out Of The Party, But You Can't Take The Party Out Of Taneisha
i have nothing against thai ladyboys.. and i am so sorry if it was offensive...i a m really sorry. but that was just based from here says, like it is democratic forum... and we can be as subjective as we want to be,,, like what i said.. i just speak for my self on behalf of other ladyboys from PI.
before i wrote my opinion regarding this matter, i listed down some factors or considerations, and i mentioned that it is maybe because LB sex industry in thailand is a lot visible than here in philippines. for example in thailand, they have publicized private spaces, they have these popular to men who want that kind of service.
again... i would love to apologize if i offended the thai ladyboys here or in general... i am just trying to share things i have heard from some people who has been there.. and you know i was also once a victim of these stereotypes.. but there is nothing we can do because these are social constructs that we can never get rid of... unless we call for 'revolution'(sociologically speaking) and dig deep down to the roots where these stereotypes where created.
again.. im sorry.. i didnt mean to offend anyone..
i just wanna say that yes, there was a combination of here says and assumption regarding the comment i posted awhile ago... i believe that the thai government is doing something regarding these issue,,, but we cant say that its efficiency is 100%, there are still lots of people let say ladyboys working in streets, where they are actually not properly regulated by law enforcers... and this maybe the cause why there are assumptions made.
it is not something that we have to fight against each other, instead it is something we have to talk and we have to deal with.
