unfortunately this thread is moving to a "pissing"contest. After a rough start, the OP shifted styles which was more in line with his stated goal of helping the newbie, rather than slagging the lbs and those who "pay too much".

For those who prefer the pay the lowest approach - sure it works, and you cannot deny the market has NOT been ruined for you. Also keep in mind not all newbies are average joes - if there are some who don't want to negotiate and pay the market rate - or a bit more it is up to them. Does it make them tossers, wankers, toffs or idiots? I don't think they need baby sitters to tell them what they should pay.

As for information on the board about this - plenty has been posted in the past. You are not going to convert anyone who has the time to read this forum - they will decide for themselves how much they are going to pay the ladies.

So, relax, Happy New Year! Remember probably less than 50% of the people who read here actually make it to LOS.

Just a couple of additional points/opinions that I consider to be true whether dealing with bargirls or ladyboys:

1. Those that overpay are rarely rich.  It's normally the opposite.   Most people that are rich are rich for a reason...they are not stupid with their money.   Most of the guys that I monger with that are professionals are smart with their money and pay the going rate.   They try to strike bargains but not to the point where it will spoil the experience.   The guys that I see spending like a drunken sailor are blue collar workers pretending to be rich.   The blue collar workers have 1 vacation a year and really dont even care how much they spend.     Professionals and business owners many times have more vacation time and/or are their own boss.  They take more vacations and want to get good value in those vacations.

2. Their is an urban legend that paying more will give you better service AND priority when you want to barfine the girl another time.   Its an urban legend and comes from guys that dont pay attention, are too drunk to notice or are in denial.    If you speak some Thai, dont come across as a serial killer, look presentable, treat the girls with respect and have some fun then you can pay 1,000 baht for ST and the girl will give you a great time and your phone will ring off the hook.

3. With the world economy taking a shit, Thailand having domestic problems and people traveling much much less....these girls will be hurting for business... BIG TIME.  This is the quiet before the storm.    Hotel prices will go down, flight prices will go down and girls will be begging for 1,000 baht ST's IN BANGKOK.    Don't believe me?  Just watch.

Second, I have never challenged your knowledge of Pattaya or your experiences...I only take issue with your contention that your way is the only way...

Third, I don't claim to have your experience fucking ladyboys...However, over the past two years I have spent a total of 15 months in Thailand...A claim I don't believe you can't make...

And I don't make notches on the bedpost, so I have no idea how many ladyboys I've been with...Nor do I care...Nor would it ever be something I would ever brag about...

I more or less go along with that, and reading your posts on other threads, I find you can give pretty good advice, irrespective of how long you spent in LOS. I find you have a good grasp on treatment/respect of the LB/GG, the same as me, which I consider more important than any kind of payment.

The bold statement in the beginning, was just to draw attention, to the rest of the plot, which I m trying to input. And was hoping others would join in with their own ideas of how to spend their days, without going over budget.

As I stated earlier, doing what I do all these years, then joining the forum and getting a shock of my life, and actually feeling a bit guilty, but only for a very short moment.

If I was one of the 50%, that has never been to LOS, and was using the forum for ideas to plan a vacation on a budget, it can be a shocker, when you read things like "I stayed in such n such hotel, I managed to get it for 2300 a night." Or "She asked me for 6000 for ST, but I got her down to 4000". If I was a newbie on a budget, and thinking to take the plunge, and after reading things like that I probably say to myself, "Fuck it, that's way out of my league, best to stay at home and have a wank."

And like you graciously point out from time to time, particular threads with particular information in them. That's the trouble ..... They are all doted about the forum and hidden away in the archives, and would take ages to figure out what is suitable for the budget.

It's a pity it wasn't all rolled into one thread with sub's concerning even from the flight itself, taxi/bus, hotels, P4P, treatment and respect, what you can do day/night, all the way to the trip home, all in that order, and all up dated in one thread. One click away, so to speak, and in a regimental fashion, and without taking the piss, for the guy on a budget.

What i cant understand is that in the original post1 it is claimed that a cheapo Hotel is the same as a high star hotel-= in other words its the same experience.. i think the quote was "paying through the nose"

This is also clearly rubbish as if you give 100 people a free night in any Pattaya Hotel , 95% would stay in the likes of the Montien and not some noisy cockroach infested shithole

Clearly, you have wrong concept on what a 2.5 €“ 3 star hotel is. After all it's only a room with the usual bathroom/fridge/TV/bed/swimming pool etc. which is all you need. Who care's what color they come in, and how the wall paper is hung. All in the region of 500 €“ 750 baht, minus weekly discounts and monthly discounts. No problems on how many visitors you have, no joiners fees.

There are brand new hotels in this range sprouting up everyday in Pattaya (exaggerated). Clean, tidy; have never seen a cockroach anywhere I have stayed; Shithole, well I would call something like the Jasmine hotel that, I wouldn't take my coat off in it. But something like the Swadee Siam, soi beokaw for 700 a night, I find it quite comfortable. And taking a LB/GG back, they have no illusions, on if your made of money or not. This type of hotel may not impress them, but its far more comfortable to what they are living in.
